Just because school ended doesn’t mean the work ends. Our sheep showman had their 1st work day of the summer yesterday. We want to thank Nicole Laster SGCHS alumni for coming and assisting our showman.

Today our advisor Ms. Lewis was able to visit Andrew Mclemore and interview him about his SAE. Andrew is an incredible officer and brings great opportunities to our chapter!

If you noticed workers at the barn before school let out, we were getting some major upgrades thanks to our school district. We now have a roof and electricity in our storage room, new ceiling fans, and fresh concrete for our pens. We are truly thankful for their investment in our program.

Our FFA students had a great time visiting the Girl Scouts today! Andrew, Alyssa, and Lilly taught everyone how to properly walk a sheep, shared some basics about sheep nutrition, and wrapped it all up with a fun craft. Thank you for having us!
