Shout out to this crew! Our Duct Tape Team for the summer of 2026. They hold camp together and have to be scrappy! In the middle of this post is the picture of a cross. The cross is a symbol of sacrifice and ultimately love. We hope they learned a lot this summer about Jesus and how He sacrificed for us. True leaders SERVE. True leaders sacrifice. True leaders do tasks similar to the washing of feet - tasks that can be messy, but are so intentional and loving to others.

The 5th summer of Camp Shadow Lake has come to close. We always want to acknowledge that we do not have a picture of everyone who worked, served, prayed for, gave financially, set up/cleaned up, or supported with hospitality - but we are incredibly grateful for every single heart that has been a part of the kingdom work this summer. We love because Jesus first loved us. All glory to God!
At the end of the week of every camp we do a segment where we have the campers thank our staff. When we take time to show gratitude to one another our cups get filled up to pour out more love! The things the campers say are precious and we cherish our time with them.
The very last day of camp is emotional for us and our campers. Some of them have come every day all summer long and we are very connected with them! There are a lot of tears and sweet goodbyes, but we always hope to see them during school year at Grace Life, Bellview, or even in organizations at school like First Priority Kids.

We did a car game today! Guess the staff’s cars!🚗🚙🏎️🚘🚖 P.S. We did this safely! No moving cars around any campers. 👍
