Join Texas AFT's Committee on Political Education and Fair Shot Texas PAC and Planned Parenthood Texas Votes with endorsed candidates in areas across the state to kick off the race to November. Attendees of these September 12 events will volunteer for local candidates, gain more information on elections, and connect with fellow union members!

The daughters of two AFT members each won a $1,500 scholarship from the Texas AFL-CIO. The scholarships are for affiliated union members and families. It’s an example of how unions are stepping in to help working-class families afford higher education as the cost of college continues to grow.
