What an incredible opportunity to showcase the amazing things happening in our McAllen ISD public schools!

As President of McAllen AFT, I could not be more proud of the dedicated educators and talented students at McAllen Flight Academy and the CTE Programs at Achieve Early College High School!

It was truly an honor to welcome our AFT National President Randi Weingarten and State President, Zeph Capo, to see firsthand the outstanding work taking place in our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs at McAllen ISD!

These programs are about so much more than earning credits or graduating. They are about opening doors, creating opportunities, and preparing our students for successful futures!

And behind every one of these incredible opportunities are dedicated educators who pour their hearts into helping students discover their potential.

Seeing former students return as instructors is a powerful reminder of the lasting impact our public schools have on generations of students.

THIS is the power of PUBLIC EDUCATION!💪
GO OUT AND VOTE FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION TODAY!

Our students deserve these opportunities, our educators deserve the resources to provide them, and our public schools deserve continued investment!

A huge THANK YOU to McAllen ISD, our incredible educators, and everyone who helped make this visit possible!

Proud to be McAllen AFT! Proud to stand with our educators! Proud to support PUBLIC EDUCATION!
