Comprehend is a community mental healthcare provider offering comprehensive behavioral health services including counseling, case management, psychiatric, day treatment and a variety of services for children and adults with behavioral health disorders a
nd addictions. Our staff of fully licensed, professionals provides behavioral health care services in Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Mental Health (children and adults), and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Comprehend’s Children’s Services staff offers early intervention services to elementary school children. Studies show that mental health has a complex interactive relationship with their physical health and their ability to succeed in school and in society. We currently provide First Steps for children ages 0 to 3 that have early developmental delays, Dinosaur School for children ages 3 to 8, which teaches young people anger management skills, conflict resolution and a range of positive pro-social behaviors. Comprehend’s Addictions Services provides an Intensive Outpatient Program for individuals as well as an Intensive Outpatient Program for Expectant Mothers who suffer from addiction.
