🌙 Critter Crawl: Creatures of the Night 🦉🦇

Join us for an evening of outdoor exploration as we discover the plants and animals that come alive after dark!

Explore interactive stations featuring: • Reptiles and amphibians
• Live insects
• Bats after dark
• Trees at night
• Tick education
• Forest mammals

This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to learn about nature, overcome fears of nighttime wildlife, and experience the outdoors in a new way.

We’re kicking off another AMAZING year of Growing Minds!

Today was the official kickoff of our year-long Growing Minds: Cultivating Agricultural Literacy program with Straub Elementary Kindergarten students!

And what better way to start than with ALL THINGS DAIRY!

Students got a hands-on look at where their milk comes from by practicing their milking skills with Kentucky Kate, our life-size milking cow! Then we turned learning into a tasty experiment by making milkshakes in a bag!

This is only the beginning! Throughout the school year, students will participate in hands-on agricultural lessons that connect the food they eat, the plants they grow, and the animals they learn about back to agriculture.

We are incredibly thankful to International Paper for providing grant funding that makes this year-long program possible. Their support allows us to bring agriculture to life for our youngest learners through experiences they can see, touch, taste, and remember!

Dairy is just the beginning… we have an AMAZING year ahead!
