On the 2nd of every month, we pause to remember and celebrate sweet Zoey—the bright, beautiful light she was and continues to be in the hearts of those who love her.

As you go about your summer activities, we invite you to remember Zoey and honor her by living a little more like she did—with joy, with energy, and with a faith that trusts God even when life is difficult. Her light continues to shine as part of God's greater story and lives on through the work of Two Lights Foundation, supporting Christian education, providing scholarships, and creating meaningful opportunities for others.

Raelyn Schuler, an 8th grader and Two Lights Foundation scholarship recipient, is thriving in her first year at a Christian school.

Raelyn’s passion for poetry recently led to her poem, “I Finally Found You,” winning the South Central Service Cooperative and Minnesota State University Mankato writing contest! She also spoke at her 8th grade graduation as class Salutatorian and received the Humanities Award from her teacher, Mr. Schultz.

Raelyn's parents share how she is flourishing in the Christian school environment:

“Raelyn gets up early every day, excited to go to school; to socialize, to learn, and to connect; all with Jesus Christ as the center and foundation. She volunteers and loves contributing to Mayer Lutheran activities. She has transformed from being insecure and unsure of her future into a glowing, bright young woman who is just getting started.”

Congratulations, Raelyn! It is a blessing to see the sparkle in your eye as you grow academically, socially, and most importantly spiritually! Two Lights Foundation is honored to support students like Raelyn as they discover who they are — and whose they are — through Christian education.

Join us for a fun-filled evening remembering the adventurous, competitive spirit of Zoey and Teigan at Two Lights Night at Lone Oak Rodeo!

Cheer on the bull riders and barrel racers, soak in the energy of the rodeo, and stick around for Canyon Cowboys performance to keep the night going!

Lone Oak Rodeo is directing a portion of ticket sales to benefit Two Lights Foundation, supporting our mission and helping to shine the Light through the darkness. Thank you Lone Oak Rodeo!

Today, we pause to celebrate Teigan on his birthday — the day a little more light entered the world! His love for life was contagious, and any time spent with him was truly time well spent. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved, and his impact continues to live on in the hearts of so many.
As you go about your day, take time to cherish the people around you — spend your time well with family and friends, just as Teigan always did.
Today, we honor Teigan by carrying his legacy forward through the Two Lights Foundation — making Christian education possible for others and creating opportunities for students to grow in faith and purpose. God is still in control and is using Teigan’s story to open doors for others to know Jesus. Through his legacy, lives are being changed and hope continues to shine.

On May 2nd we pause to remember Zoey on her birthday! - Her beautiful, spunky, and courageous personality; energetic, joyful, and full of life. Her vibrant personality and radiant spirit left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her. She lived out her childlike faith with joy, believing in Jesus with a simple, unwavering trust.

Today, we honor Zoey by choosing to live a little more like she did: with joy, determination, energy, and a faith that holds steady even when life is difficult. It is the kind of faith that trusts that one day, when heaven and earth are restored, we will all be together again.

We pray her light continues to point others to the source of all life — Jesus Christ — and that through her shining light, God’s greater story continues to unfold using the Two Lights Foundation to reach as many young people as possible so that they many also get to know Jesus, just like Zoey does. Happy Heavenly Birthday Zoey!

On the 17th of every month, we pause to celebrate Teigan’s life—a reminder of the light he brought into this world. Today, we’re flashing back to 2019, when Teigan shined brightly during his high school choir days. He loved sports, but he also loved to sing with his strong, confident voice.

“Shine On Us” is a beautiful song that we can also sing as our daily prayer, asking the Lord to keep shining His light now and into the future; through our lives and those lives impacted through the mission of Two Lights Foundation. What a blessing Christian education is!
