💙MI Virtual Caregiver Support Groups offer a safe, understanding space to share experiences, talk through challenges, and connect with others who truly “get it.” These informal groups provide open conversation, reflection, and peer support with people walking a similar path.

Tuesday, August 4th is Election Day. August 4th is also tomorrow, which means if you haven’t had a chance to drop off your absentee ballot, this is the last chance you will have to vote in this year’s Primary Election.

Here are a few things to know:
🖊️ All registered voters in Michigan can vote at their polling place on Election Day.

🖊️ Unregistered voters, or voters who have not updated their registration to their current address, must go to their local clerk’s office to register and may also vote at their clerk’s office using an absentee ballot.

🖊️ Polling places are open statewide tomorrow on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Across the state, local clerks, their staff, and election workers work hard to make sure every eligible voter can cast a ballot – and every vote is counted. Local clerks recruit community members to be poll workers, maintain polling locations, and carry out the checks and balances that protect every ballot.

Unfortunately, we've seen a dramatic rise in disinformation, including from our federal government. This is designed to make people doubt our elections and even intimidate our trusted public servants who run them. But our elections do not belong to any politicians. They belong to the people who entrust their local clerks to protect our elections and our voting rights.

Every eligible voter should have equal say in the decisions that impact our lives. Know your voting rights. Practice your voting rights.
