👀 Here’s what’s coming at YTH…

🔥 Oct 4: ABOUT THAT YTH LIFE
We’re kicking off YTH by sharing the vision for what this ministry is going to be all about going forward! This is the start of something new, and you’re part of it.

⚡ Oct 11–Nov 22: HEROES OF SIN CITY
Judges is full of messy people, bad decisions, unexpected heroes, and a God who refuses to give up on His people. Yeah… this one’s gonna get wild.

🥞 December: GRINCHED!
We’re kicking off Christmas with FLANNELS & FLAPJACKS 🥞🎄—wear the flannel, eat the pancakes, embrace the Christmas chaos. Then all December, we’ll have some fun while discovering the kind of joy Jesus came to give us… even if we sometimes feel a little Grinchy.

Imagine walking into a graduation open house. An 18-year-old sees you from across the room, walks over with a huge smile, and gives you a hug.

Then they say:

“Thank you. You probably don’t realize how much you’ve meant to me. You showed up at my games. You listened when my heart got broken. You checked on me when I disappeared for a little while. You called me on my crap when I needed it. You kept pointing me back to Jesus.

I love Jesus today, and my faith is strong, because you kept showing up.”

That’s the dream.

Not just volunteers who help us pull off a great Sunday.

Adults who will show up in the lives of teenagers long enough to make a difference.

You don’t have to be cool. You don’t have to know all the answers. You just have to care about teenagers, partner with their parents, love Jesus, and be willing to show up.

Because someday, you might be the person getting that hug.

We hosted a Next Gen Ministry update after church today and wanted share here a few of the things that are coming!

Starting Sun, Oct 4 we'll be launching two new students services at 10:30am during 2nd service. 56 for 5th & 6th grades will in the basement 56 Room and YTH for 7th-12th grades will be in the basement large room. We're in the process of adding some new things to them both over the next few weeks!

We rebranded to be more aligned with the church as a whole.

Students: Our new IG account is up and the handle is ccmason.yth

Parents: the 2 main ways we'll communicate and keep you up to date is through Group Me (there are links below for both programs if you want to join) and Facebook Parent Pages (those we'll launch this week).
