Berkeley County West Virginia 4-H STEM. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for members to participate in STEM activities. Robotics, rocketry, etc

Located in Martinsburg, WV, the Berkeley County 4-H STEM Program is an after school community program with multiple team awards in robotics, rocketry, and public speaking. Membership is offered to West Virginia Residents in grades three to twelve. The 4-H STEM Program promotes an applied sciences concept through Positive Youth Self Directed Development or “Learn by Doing”. This club helps to teach students how to collaborate to solve problems, communicate results through a variety of online mediums and apply individual creativity and critical thinking skills, all of which are important skills for success in business. Club members participate in Robotics Design and Programming, Quad-Copter Engineering, Rocketry Development, 3D Design, and Printer Maintenance, as well as general Astronomy, and compete with First Lego League, Team America Rocketry Challenge, and regional SUMO Bot Challenges.

Happy belated Birthday to Tommy Erfurt! 🥳 🎂. He is a 1st year member of the Berkeley County WV 4-H STEM Club-WalkerBots.🍀 Tommy is a new member of the 2025-2026 WV state award-winning team LEGO Power! He joined us for a summer camp, and quickly demonstrated his coding and building knowledge. Tommy is developing strong research and presentation techniques, and has proven to be a huge asset to his team this season. We are so glad that he has chosen our 4-H Club! 🍀 We hope he has the BEST birthday! 🎉

October Monthly Club meeting tonight, 6:30-8, at 700 NY Ave in Martinsburg. It is the start of the 4-H calendar year. All members must register, and all competition team participants must register to participate. We are STRONGLY recommending a parent for all members remain at the meeting for the first 30 minutes to receive very important information. Reminder - all members not driving themselves need to be signed in and out. We look forward to seeing everyone this evening, and for a great year ahead!

National 4-H Week has officially begun, and our Berkeley County 4-H clubs have been busy!

21 clubs, 21 handmade wooden clovers. All across our beautiful Berkeley County!

Your mission this week is to see how many you can find! When you spot one, take a picture, family photo or a selfie with it and share it in the comment section of our Berkeley County WV 4-H page posts!

BONUS: Tell us which club's clover you've found!

He is a 1st year member of the Berkeley County WV 4-H STEM Club-WalkerBots.🍀 Korbin is a new member of the 2025-2026 WV state & International award-winning team LEGO Force! He excels at coding, problem-solving, building, as well as research and presentation skills with his team. Korbin is very motivated to do his best and help his team to do well! We are excited to see all he and his team will accomplish this season! We are so glad that he has chosen our 4-H Club! 🍀 We hope he has the BEST birthday! 🎉

Happy Birthday to Angela Tsiatsos! 🥳 🎂. She was a 1st year Mentor of the WV State and International award-winning LEGO Force! Angela drew on her skills as a teacher to mentor her team of young men to shine as representatives of our state and country in the STEM community! She has been such an asset to the team and the Berkeley County WV 4-H STEM Club!!! We hope she has a wonderful birthday! 🍀
