Blue Knights Wisconsin Chapter XV A fraternal organization of law enforcement officers with a membership of over 20,000, making up 606 chapters based in 29 counties worldwide. Sheriff Dept.

All members share the bond of law enforcement and a love of motorcycle riding A member of the Great Lakes Regional Conference, WI. BK-XV was conceived in 1995 by a few stalwart officers from Wood Co. and the Wisconsin Rapids Police Dept. In 1996 we received our charter from the International. Membership has fluctuated through the years, from the original 10 to as many as 46 and back to our present

membership of 24. Our geographical area is quite large covering the central and north central part of the state. Our membership consists of active duty and retired officers from city, county, and state agencies. We support several area charities, food pantries and strongly support our military veterans. As a group and individually our goal is to promote a positive image of motorcycling to our local communities and the general public. Our family and friends take part in many of the club sponsored activities such a rides, picnics, summer camp outs, and off season gatherings. We enjoy life and our passion for riding only enhances the enjoyment. We care not what style or brand of bike you ride, only that you ride in a safe and courteous manner. When you find yourself in our area look us up, the coffee pot is always on and there is something cold in the fridge. RIDE WITH PRIDE, SAFELY

Our BK XV Chapter monthly meeting is tomorrow, March 22, At Pagels Pub and Restaurant. 1pm. It doesn't look too good for riding the bikes, still more than a foot of snow in most places, but we'll be warm, dry, and very well fed! Hope to see you there!

Steve Pyfferoen joins Ron Millard and Ray Potocki as our Directors. A very enjoyable evening was had by all! Merry Christmas from WI XV!

On Sunday, October 19th, 2025, Blue Knights Wisconsin Chapter XV made our third $5000 donation to Northwoods Veterans Homestead , to keep their dreams alive. We thank all the citizens who've purchased gun raffle tickets from us over the last three years, so we could make these donations to support our homeless troops in northern Wisconsin.

Blue Knights Wisconsin Chapter XV took one last organized ride for the year this past weekend. We were led by Road Captain Evan Hansen. We met in Marshfield and rode up to Trego, WI, where around 14 members and spouses took a seven mile train ride and enjoyed homemade pizza and refreshments. We then rode back to Rice Lake where we spent the night and had a great time dining and just enjoying the brotherhood that is the Blue Knights! Thank you to all who attended! On the way home, one couple ended up buying a new to them Yamaha Royal Star Venture! And, it's Blue!

🇺🇸 Homeless Veterans in Wisconsin & the Northwoods 🇺🇸

📊 Did you know?
• More than 300 Wisconsin veterans are homeless on any given night.
• In the Northwoods, 25–40 veterans each year face unsafe or unstable housing—often invisible, staying in cars, campers, or on couches.
• Winters here drop to –20°F, making homelessness especially dangerous.

🌟 A First for the Northwoods
Northwoods Veterans Homestead will be the first dedicated veteran housing community ever introduced to our region—a 16-tiny-home village with a shared community center designed to give veterans stability, dignity, and the tools to rebuild their lives.

💡 Why It Matters
• Permanent support: More than a bed—this is a stable, long-term community.
• On-site resources: Job-readiness training, mental-health support, and VA benefit assistance—all close to home.
• Stronger ties: Keeping veterans near family, friends, and local employers reduces the risk of returning to homelessness.

🫶 Every statistic is a neighbor, a friend, a hero who served. Together, we can build a place where Northwoods veterans find not just shelter, but hope and community.
