It has been a whirlwind 48 hours for Pack and Troop 21. We kicked off den meetings with a flag ceremony that not only was a first time experience for all our new scouts, but also a logistical puzzle we had to work through together because of sheer numbers. Best problem ever!
We followed it up with what we have decided is an annual tradition: our beginning of the year lock-in! We had pizza, made s'mores, played games, built blanket forts, and watched a movie in them. The scouts and parents all had a great time getting to know each other and having SO MUCH FUN! Did we get enough sleep? Absolutely not! Are we already trying to schedule another one? Absolutely yes!
After a great night, we rolled right into popcorn at Oasis Powersports! Shoutout to our scouts for all their hard work in setting up the booth and working to earn their way to camp!
We'll be back at it again next week, but for tonight, we hope everyone catches up on some sleep!
