Did You Know Sunday! ☀️🎓

It’s back-to-school season, which means students across our community are stepping into a new year of learning, growth and opportunity.

At MCF, we’re proud to help make those opportunities possible by connecting local generosity with students working toward their futures. Every scholarship represents someone choosing to invest in what comes next.

Here’s to a new school year and the possibilities ahead! 💙

We are absolutely blown away by the response to our 'Farm 2 Table' initiative. 🐷🍀

When we expanded 'Farm 2 Table' during this year’s Washington County fair season, we hoped a few fair purchases might become something more for a local family. At the Waterford Community Fair, the community took that idea and ran with it — 24 hogs were purchased and donated to the program.

Now, those hogs have been processed and are making their way to local food pantries. One of the first deliveries recently arrived at the Matamoras Area Food Pantry!

We’re grateful to Washington County Harvest of Hope for helping make these deliveries possible, and especially to everyone who chose to turn a fair purchase into something bigger. 💚

As a new school year gets underway, we’re excited to shine a spotlight on one of our Community Impact Grants! 🍎✨

At Fort Frye Local Schools, a long-held dream of bringing a greenhouse back to campus has become a hands-on learning space where students are growing plants, conducting research, solving problems, exploring agriculture, and finding new ways to share what they learn with others.

With support from a MCF Community Impact Grant, that dream became something students could actually step inside of...and make their own. Read more about the grant below! 🌱

On any given day, students at Fort Frye Local Schools might be tending plants, monitoring environmental controls, conducting research, or preparing presentations inside the district's new greenhouse. What began as a long-held dream has quickly become a thriving educational space where students are

Did You Know Sunday? ☀️

Starting a Donor-Advised Fund doesn’t have to mean having $2,500 ready to go on day one.

At MCF, our Starter Fund option gives individuals and families a more accessible way to begin their philanthropic journey and build their fund over time.

Starter Funds can be established with a minimum contribution of $1,000 — or $500 with monthly payments — with a commitment to reach the $2,500 minimum balance within 36 months. From there, your fund can begin recommending grants to the organizations and causes you care about.

It’s philanthropy with room to grow. 💙

'Farm 2 Table' has some exciting news for this year’s Washington County Fair season! 🎉🐄🐖

For the past two years, MCF’s 'Farm 2 Table' initiative has purchased fair animals and donated the processed meat to local food pantries. We’ve seen firsthand what that can mean for families in our community...but we’ve also known this idea could become something bigger.

And this year, it is!

MCF is joining forces with local community leaders who have been championing a similar effort since 2020. And for the first time, fair buyers will have the opportunity to designate their purchased livestock to 'Farm 2 Table' during the sale!

And this is just the beginning. Read the full story to discover what’s next for Farm 2 Table, and how you can be part of its next chapter. 💫💙

Our fourth annual InfluencHer Leadership Summit was everything we hoped it would be...full of big conversations, new experiences, laughter, and growing confidence. ✨🩷

Twenty-one incredible mentors gave their time, shared their stories, answered questions, challenged these young girls to think differently, and reminded them that there is no single path to becoming a leader.

To our mentors, session leaders, volunteers, and everyone who helped bring this day to life — thank you. You didn’t just give these girls a day. You gave them new perspectives, new connections, and definitely more belief in themselves.

And to our incredible partners at BB2C - Building Bridges to Careers— thank you for continuing to dream alongside us and help make InfluencHer possible!

And finally, to our 21 mentees — thank you for showing up, stepping outside your comfort zones, and being willing to learn, laugh, and grow with us.

We’re still smiling thinking about this incredible day.🥹

Washington County - What happens when you give a group of middle school girls a day to try something new, meet women with different experiences, and step outside of what feels comfortable? That was the spirit of the fourth annual InfluencHer Leadership Summit , held at Washington State College of
