The Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County provides after school youth programming for kindergarten through 12th grades in the areas of education, character building, socialization, arts & crafts and physical recreation.

📣 Please join us in welcoming Holly Root as the new Director of Resource Development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County!

Holly brings a diverse professional background in healthcare, administration, small business ownership and art as the owner of Capturing Grace Photography, along with a strong passion for building meaningful relationships and serving others. She is currently completing her Regents Bachelor of Arts degree through West Virginia University at Parkersburg with a focus in Business Management and is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.

As a mother of three daughters, Holly understands the importance of positive influences, safe spaces, and supportive communities where young people can grow, learn, and thrive. Her commitment to strengthening communities through connection and collaboration aligns perfectly with the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County.

In her new role, Holly will focus on building relationships with local businesses, schools, churches, community leaders, and supporters to help expand opportunities for youth and families throughout our region.

Our teens from The Club at ACE will be on hand selling some delicious treats they whipped up today. All proceeds benefit our inaugural program for Marietta teens!
