As we near the end of the first week of the “Change”-Makers Challenge, we are so excited to share some wonderful news! 🎉
100% of every coin, dollar, check, and online donation contributed to our jug will go directly back to our organization! 💙
That means every contribution goes right back into supporting the kids and families in the communities we serve!
We are truly grateful for everyone who has donated, shared, and supported us throughout this challenge. Your generosity is what makes our mission possible!

We're getting ready to wrap up the first week of the 2026 Nonprofit Challenge, and what a great start it has been! 💵✨
And we have some exciting news!
When this year's challenge began, all donations collected in the nonprofit jugs were designated for MCF's Community Impact Fund, which supports local nonprofits through our grant program. But as we've watched the incredible enthusiasm from participating nonprofits and the outpouring of support from our community, we've been thinking about how we can do even more.
So, we're making a change (no pun intended)!
Every participating nonprofit will get to keep 100% of the donations collected in its jug. That means every dollar, every coin, every check and every online gift goes directly to the nonprofit collecting it. 🎉
And yes, they're still competing for one of the top five spots and a share of the additional $30,000 in challenge funding, along with our auxiliary prize!
This challenge has always been about celebrating and supporting the incredible nonprofits that make Washington County a better place. Seeing the community rally behind these organizations has been amazing, and this change is just one more way we can make sure that support goes even further.
