Families- Come visit us at Marietta's November First Friday event! We will be set up on the Armory Lawn, with great information available about our preschool and after school care programs. 🎒🏓

Interested families who register for a K-12 membership through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County First Friday table can also receive their first month free!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone and kicking off the start of November. ☺️

What does a typical afternoon at Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County look like? After members arrive and enjoy a free snack, many start with Power Hour, where staff provide homework help and tutoring.

From there, the afternoon can include arts and crafts, physical recreation, character-building activities, and time with friends. Teen members may also spend part of their day in Money Matters, learning how to set goals, build a budget, and save.

Shoutout to Boys & Girls Club of Marietta ‘s Unit Director Ms. Jess for allowing The ACE Teen members and Staff to come hang out for Trunk r Treat!! 🎊🎃🍬

These 4 teens decided they wanted to do a rubber ducky theme and brought it to life! It was great to watch them collaborate and give back to the littles of our community. 🐥

We are so grateful to West Virginia Central Federal Credit Union for their support on this years annual Day of Giving! This support will directly benefit our teen program at The Club at ACE - the newest member of the BGCWC family!

In September, we invited our members to bring a friend to the club and jump into some pottery. Members’ plus ones did not have to pay a charge for their visit. Rather, we focused on having a good time, enjoying some treats, and getting into ceramics! 🍪🤩 🎨

This Friday, we are hosting another Bring a Friend Event. Members can once again bring a plus one to the club afterschool at no cost. Our activity this month will be pumpkin decorating! If your teen or their friends are interested in this event, please reach out to us ([email protected] or Remind)! Snacks and drinks will once again be provided. 😊🎃

Additionally, on Monday we will be open for All Day Club- and will be hosting a Trunk at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Marietta Trunk r Treat in the evening! If your teen is interested in volunteering for this event, please reach to us through Remind or [email protected]! 🐤🍬
