A very special thank you to this wonderful group of volunteers that came out Monday morning to pack weekend food bags.

Our group was smaller than normal, the call for volunteers was shorter than normal, but this awesome group showed up and packed 600 bags in less than an hour. Thank you for helping us help the students. We love our volunteers!!!

We always enjoy having the NextStep students visit the Backpack for Kids warehouse. They packed 300 bags for a 3-day weekend when the students return to school from Spring Break.

A special Thank You to First Federal Bank and to the employees for donating to the Backpack for Kids program. Your generous donation helps us provide food bags for students that may not have sufficient food on weekends when school is not in session.
