There’s something special about the ritual of a Costa Rican coffee. ☕️🇨🇷

Meet the Choreador—a traditional Costa Rican brewing method that lets the coffee slowly drip through a cotton filter, or bolsita, creating a beautifully smooth cup.

While we’ll also have drip and iced coffee, we’re debuting the Choreador this Sunday at The Wheelhouse during the 9th Annual Maplewood Porchfest!

Community Cafe is outside this season—and we’ve got your favorites in tow. ☕️💜

Catch us at The Wheelhouse Cheese & More for Maplewood Porchfest next Sunday, Sept. 6, 1–5 PM, with ube cookies + cafecito in hand.

Then we’re back at the Wheelhouse Sept. 20 for another Hi! Tea!—because cookies deserve good tea.

More is brewing for the months ahead as we continue building community, both within and beyond our new space taking shape.

Join us for the final Friday of the Gazebo Summer Concert Series, featuring DJ Fauzi and Sarah Joseph, food trucks, arts & crafts, and plenty of summer energy.

We’ll be there with refreshing teas, delicious treats, and yes… the ube cookies are coming 😉

And to everyone who joined us—especially those who continue to follow and support Community Cafe while we’re between spaces—thank you. Your loyalty, encouragement, and excitement make every gathering feel so special. 💛
