Story time! I think this is my favorite story!

I’ve done 183 School assemblies, and given kids over 200,000 hand carved heart shaped stones in the past three years.

I invite them to keep it for as long as they need it, maybe even their whole life, as a little reminder on a bad day that they are a good person, that the world is a better place because they are in it, that they matter and their loved, and that they’re never alone!

I invite them, if they don’t need their heart, to find someone that needs it more than they do and to pass it on.

That is exactly what happens in this story.

Maybe the little boy needed it, but he knew his dad needed it more than he did.

Compassion, love, and kindness, should know no bounds!

It’s impossible to give yourself poor, when you’re giving these away!

My favorite thing to do in school assemblies after I’ve given everyone a heart, is to invite them to keep it their whole life, and give it away every day, by using it as a stencil to make 10 paper hearts.

I invite them to make those paper hearts, write little notes of encouragement, and then put them in their pocket, or in their backpack. If they have them, they’ll find hiding places to put them, or see people to give them to.

I love that kindness can be taught, and learned, and practiced, and enjoyed!

This is my favorite part of my school kindness assembly! Kids love kindness!

I start by showing them how I make my heat rocks.

Then, I offer everyone one to be their lifelong reminder that they are amazing and that the world is a better place because they are in it.

Next, I show them videos and tell stories of experiences I’ve had hiding hearts on playgrounds, at hospitals, and handing them out to strangers. It’s so fun!

We talk about creating kind surprises that are fun!

Then I invite them to keep their heart their while life AND give it away every day by using it as a stencil to make paper hearts.

This video is the final few minutes of my 40-min presentation. It’s my favorite part!

This was filmed during my 180th school assembly in Grace, Idaho.

I love doing school assemblies!

They’re so fun!

I’ve officially given kids over 200,000 hearts through school kindness assemblies!

Dozens of them have saved the life of a family member by giving away their hearts.

I love being able to do this!

I love doing this every day! It’s so much fun!

at the end of the video, I gave a special part to her father. I wish you could’ve seen the way. His eyes lit up when he got his heart!

I started in 2019, after a loved one ended their life. I make 10 stone hearts, and then I hide or hand them out wherever I am.

I love the idea that someone might keep with the whole life as a little reminder that they are amazing and the world is a better place because they are in it!

How would you feel if you found one of these?!

I hope next time you’re out in nature, you find a naturally shaped heart and it reminds you that you are amazing and the world is a better place because you are in it!

Where should I go next to hide my hearts?! I’m thinking of going to the hospital, the library, more local parks, etc.

Doing this every day for years has changed my life for the better in all of the best ways! It’s so fun!

this is my life’s work! I’m so excited to spend my life making and sharing this many hearts as I can! So far, I’m at just over 400,000!

Thank you so much for being here! I love that my social media has turned into a community of like-minded people, kindred spirits, and friends!

Since then, my thought has been, if I can make enough hearts, and remind enough people that they matter on their loved, or inspire them to use it as a tool to remind someone else, surely someone, someday will save someone’s life.

Nearly 7 years, and 400,000 hearts later, I’m aware of 129 instances where that has happened!

Kindness is magic! Kindness changes people forever!

Thank you so much for being here!

I absolutely love being able to do this every day!

I make 10 stone hearts, and wherever I am, I go and hide them for people to find!

I love the idea that someone might find it, and it makes their day, and then every time they say for the rest of their life, it reminds them of that magical moment!

Kindness truly is magic! It’s so fun for me, and so fun for them too!

Since a loved one end of their life in 2019, I’ve made and shared over 400,000 hearts. It’s my way of making the world a better place!

This is the Spanish fork River Trail, in Spanish fork, Utah, United States. I’ve been hiding them here daily for months. I’m going to be traveling for the next 30 days, and hiding them in different places!

If you’d like a special little reminder that you matter, and the world is a better place because you are in it, you can request a free heart on my website, linked in, my profile! All you would pay is the shipping, which would allow me to have USPS hide some hearts in your mailbox!

I absolutely love being able to do this every day! It’s so fun!

This matching set of hearts was made from a single stone for a family who had experienced a devastating loss.

When I cut multiple hearts from a single stone, I call them “family” because they grew up together, share a strong resemblance, and always have a special connection.

I started carving stone hearts in 2018 as a form of art therapy while struggling with severe depression before my bipolar diagnosis. What began as a way to heal became a mission to create and share love, connection, and hope through stone hearts.

After more than 8,000 hours on my saw, tens of thousands of hearts made, and over 400,000 hearts shared through the help of other stone carvers, I still feel honored every time I get to make one.

I love the idea that they can keep it their whole life, and perhaps pass it down through the generations, and the longer they have it, it more meaningful it becomes!

My goal is to help create and share 1 million stone hearts by November 2029.

I love being able to do this everyday! It’s so fun!

Thank you for being here!

If you would like to request one heart, or get some to share with you family or in your community, visit my website, linked in my profile.

Take heart, you matter and are loved!

You are amazing, and the world is a better place because you are in it!

I was hiding hearts down by the river, and I met a family that said they’ve been finding my hearts for months! They were so grateful, and kind!

I started doing this in 2019 after one of my loved ones ended their life. I figure, if I can make enough stone, hearts, and hide, handout, or share them, surely someone someday will use one or be inspired by one, to save someone’s life.

Doing this has been so fun for me!

I hide them around my community, and then I go back later that day or later in the week and check my hiding spots to see which ones have been found.

The other day, I saw a little girl, maybe four or five years old, flying down the path on her scooter. She came to a sudden stop because she found a heart rock on the bench. She picked it up, and danced with joy! Then she immediately gave it to her mom and said, “Mommy, look what I found! I want you to have it because I love you!” then she got back on her scooter, and took off!

It’s moments like these, that make it all worth it!

I’ve spent over 8000 hours using my tile saw and rock tumblers to make tens of thousands of stone hearts. When I realized that I couldn’t make enough, I set up an organization to help me make hundreds of thousands more, so that I could share them through school, kindness, assemblies, community events, addiction, recovery, programs, cancer, treatment centers, etc.

This is my life’s work. I’m up to over 400,000 hearts, and I’m aware of 129 instances where they’ve been used to save someone’s life!

I’m so grateful to be able to do this every day! It’s so fun!

What do you do this in your community? Doing this every day, has changed my life for the better in all the best ways! I hope you feel inspired!

Thank you so much for being here! I love that my social media is turning into a community of kindred spirits!

Would you get excited if you found one of these?

Would you keep it your whole life?

Or, would you give it to a friend or loved one?

What is you found two of them?

Since a loved one ended their life in 2019, I’ve been making and either hiding or handing out at least ten handmade stone hearts each day. It’s my way of making the world s as better place!

It’s a fun and gentle way to remind people that they are amazing and that the world is a better place because they are in it!

Small and simple Acura of kindness are magic! They can have such a big impact on someone’s life!

Doing this everyday has changed my life for the better in all the best ways, and I know it will for you too!

Thank you so much for being here!

I love being able to do this every day!

It’s so simple, yet it could have a huge impact on someone’s life!

I have so much fun making, and then hiding hiding them!

I love the idea that someone might find it and keep it their whole life, or maybe they pass it on to a loved one who’s been struggling, and then they keep it their whole life!

I started doing this in 2019, and my thought was if I can make enough of these surely someone someday will use one to save someone’s life.

I’ve dedicated my life to this, spending thousands of hours making, sharing, and hiding them.

As of this week, I’m aware of 129 instances were one of them has been used to help save someone’s life.

How do I know? People share their stories with me, here on my social media! I’m collecting their stories!

Doing this every day, has changed my life for the better in all the best ways! It’s helped me so much along my path of healing, and acceptance of my left one’s loss. It’s helping me to become a kind person, and that’s the kind of person I want to be!

I hope you feel inspired! You don’t have to do anything big, small, simple acts of kindness repeated continuously, change this world and save lives!

It only takes one person to change this world, and that person is you, and it has always been you!

Thank you so much for being here!

I hope next time you’re outdoors, so you find a naturally shaped heart and it reminds you of the truth that the world is a better place because you are in it!

What have been your experiences offering something other than money to a panhandler, or someone on the side of the street with a cardboard sign asking for money?

I’ve had several dozen experiences, just like this one, where I offer a handmade stone heart to be their reminder that they matter in their loved.

Every time, except for once, the reaction has been the same. They slip it into their pocket, often without even looking at it, say thank you, and then look a different direction, almost as if they’re disappointed and dismissive.

However, on one occasion, the man began to weep, and we talked for a while about his situation how lonely he felt. It’s an experience that I think about often, especially whenever I see someone who may be transient, or homeless, or struggling through life in a way that is very different from my own.

I feel like, if there’s even the tiniest chance, one of my hearts could help one person, it’s worth all the effort. The uninsurable moments of approaching a strange to offer them a little reminder that they’re loved, are worth it. I’d much rather feel uncomfortable for a moment than leave wondering what could have been.

Perhaps, they take it home and give it to someone else, or maybe they leave it on the side of the road, and someone else finds it when they need it. There’s always that chance that it later becomes meaningful.

I’m grateful to be able to do something, even something so small like offering a heart, for the off chance that it could help them.

After all, practicing kindness always helps me to also become kind, and that’s the kind of person I want to become!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and that you take all of the opportunities that come your way to practice kindness!

Thank you so much for being here!
