Today we celebrate St. Peter Claver, a Jesuit priest who dedicated his life to serving enslaved people who were brought to Colombia. He cared for them with compassion, providing food, medicine, and spiritual support, and worked tirelessly to defend their dignity as children of God.

St. Peter Claver reminds us that holiness is found in loving and serving others, especially those who are suffering or forgotten.

May we follow his example by seeing Christ in every person we encounter and responding with compassion and love.

Today we celebrate the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God and our spiritual mother. From the very beginning, God prepared Mary for her unique role in salvation history, and through her humble “yes,” she became the mother of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

May Mary’s example of faith, humility, and trust in God inspire us to say “yes” to His will in our own lives.

Today we give thanks for the gift of work and for all those who labor each day to provide for their families, serve their communities, and build a better world.

May we remember that every honest work, offered with love and dignity, can be a way of serving God and others.

Today, we pray for all workers, especially those whose work often goes unseen. May God bless you and your families with rest, joy, and peace.

This is a special weekend at OLPH as we officially welcome our new pastor, Father Fernando Monsalve! We are grateful to have him joining our parish family and look forward to beginning this new chapter together.

Volunteer at the Maple Shade Sidewalk Sale!🛍️

OLPH is proud to sponsor this year’s Maple Shade Sidewalk Sale! We’re excited to be part of this great community event and are looking for volunteers to help make the day a success.

We need volunteers to help with:
🔹 Set-up
🔹 Working our tables during the sale (greeting, sharing information, offering a prayer)
🔹 Clean-up

Whether you can give a little time or stay for the whole event, we’d love to have you join us!
