The Patriot Fund would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who attended the 11th Annual Patriot Fund Gala last Friday at the Union League of Philadelphia! We were thrilled to honor our 2026 Greater Philadelphia Area Patriot of the Year, Frank Giordano, and hear from our guest speakers Jon Turnbull, his wife Samantha Turnbull, and Evangelo “Vann” Morris.

Thanks to your support, we were able to raise $1.2 million for Veterans. From our three incredible $50k donors to every small donation made, you have helped make a positive impact on our nation’s Veterans and their families.

Whether you were able to attend on Friday, or you supported from afar, thank you. Our mission is brought to life by the generosity of people across the region, and we could not be more grateful.

Executive Director Matt Ellison had the chance to meet with team members from Project Refit, one of The Patriot Fund’s Operational Partners! Thanks to our donors, we were able to present Project Refit with a check for $50,000 to support their work!

Project Refit believes combating isolation by building the community of the future will reduce su***de rates among the military and first responder communities. They look to change the negative connotation around mental health by helping implement and support simple, make-sense programs for military members past and present, first responders, and their families.
