Manteca Youth Council #8 is a local Youth Council for the Luso-American Financial that participates in their Annual Luso Convention showcasing a visual expression of their Luso-American culture by incorporating diverse forms of dance and music to provide a program to enjoy. Monthly Meetings, Community Service, Fundraising Events, Portuguese Events/Festas, Fun youth events are just some of the many things YC8 loves to do.

Our Post Convention Pizza & Ice Cream social was a success. The kiddos also got to say Goodbye to our two wonderful Youth Leaders that gave us an amazing 3 years! Thank you & !!! Who also took the time this year & coached the new incoming leaders. Spider-Man Milo made a guest appearance too! Our Adult Council 34B held their meeting while YC8 did theirs too. What a great turnout & a great evening with our Luso Familia!!!

2026 Convention Recap + more! A weekend we will never forget! This is our Story on and off that stage! The joy these kids have being around each other is remarkable to watch & be a part of. So proud of this group & congratulations to all the Councils who worked hard to get on that stage!

We can’t wait to be reunited with all of our Luso Families and to watch all of their hard work on that stage on Sunday. Big shoutout to everyone who helped YC8 get on that stage this year!
