BB4K was started by kids & gives free Lego sets and Lego workshops to kids while sharing God’s love and the hope that comes through Jesus Christ.

We bring them in with Love, Lego, and Pizza and then introduce them to Jesus! At the end of the day it’s all about Christ and helping kids and families experience Him! Today we had the best weather and best event! We had our event as usual but also offered additional prayer for healing and had a great opportunity to prayer for a young guy grieving the loss of a loved one. We had our pre event meeting with our team and talked on how we need to pray that our hearts would break for what breaks Gods heart for others. It’s a reminder that we should pray to see others the way God see them and God loves them! When we do that we can show compassion and love to others in a way that can minister at a whole new level and then see God change their life forever! Grateful for our team who showed up ready to love and serve others and for all of you who keep us in your prayers! Praise God for a harvest today :)

How cool is this? Lego sorted step by step in Braille! We are just months away from opening Building Blocks 4 Kids in Gulu Uganda at Gulu Community Park. But, Brittany has been working something else very exciting. Brittany is the design lead on the library in Gulu for World Embrace and it’s the building next to BB4K, which is so cool!

This week we’ve been sorting through 100’s of books in our living room that have been donated for the library. Today we sent them off with a group going to Uganda this week along with our first shipment of LEGO bricks. Since there are going to be programs for kids with special needs we have a bunch of books that were donated in Braille from the Laura Wheeler Foundation and to our surprise they also sent a bunch of LEGO sets that were sorted and labeled step by step in Braille! Too cool!!! It makes it easy to find each of the pieces step by step and with a little guidance they too can build Lego sets!

What’s neat is they were connected with us because of the library and now we find out they have been doing LEGO sets and workshops like this for people for a while. They are partnered with another non profit that makes these sets for them and then they host the workshops.

They didn’t even realize we were a part of building a LEGO building in Gulu, so it was an awesome unexpected blessing! We are so excited about what God is doing in Africa and even more excited to be going ourselves to minister there this year and open up Building Blocks 4 Kids in Gulu!

We praise God for all the generous organizations and publishers who have given to stock this library for Gulu Community Park and for the labor of love someone did making all these sets!

The weather was so amazing yesterday we would’ve forgot it was December if it wasn’t for all the Christmas fun! It was a blast serving at a huge outreach with Trinity Fair Park and Kingdom Center Outreach Dallas! There were 4 different ministries going on from street witnessing, to serving the senior living community, kids outreach with LEGO fun of course and so many other kids activities, Christmas gifts for every child, and even hot meals provided for the community. It was such a pleasure to be a part of such an amazing outreach with amazing people! Merry Christmas everyone and praise God for the gift of Jesus!!

We had an amazing time serving kids connected with Forgiven Felons Ministry in Dallas last week! It was such a great time and it was amazing seeing kids and parents respond to the invitation to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior! Thank you to everyone who came and served these families! As we go into this Christmas season it’s so important to remember that the holidays aren’t always an exciting time for every family. So, we encourage you to find opportunities to bring a smile to child’s face this Christmas in whatever way you can! We are now gearing up for our last event of the year next week and excited for what God is doing!
