We were honored to support the Mansfield Police Department at their annual banquet this year. Seeing the well-earned recognition and appreciation for the men and women of MPD is always a powerful reminder of the dedication they bring to serving our community every day.

From the perspective of the Mansfield Citizens Police Academy Association, it means a great deal to play a small part in celebrating that service. We are especially grateful for the support of our local business community, including Wi******er Safes, whose generous donation helped make the evening even more special for MPD employees.

Huge congratulations are in order for Officer Labeef!

Please join us in congratulating Officer LaBeef on earning his wings! This accomplishment marks his successful graduation from an intensive police motorcycle training school. This is one of the most challenging programs in law enforcement. His hard work, dedication, and skill have truly paid off.

🚦 Traffic Signal Update on Lone Star Road 🚦

Great news, Mansfield! Construction is moving right along on Lone Star Road, and the improvements are already making a difference. The new roadways are not only beautiful but also more efficient and safer for everyone traveling through the area.

As part of that progress, the traffic signals at three key intersections are now fully operational:

🔸 Lone Star Rd. & S. Main St.
🔸 Lone Star Rd. & the S. US 287 Southbound Frontage Rd.
🔸 Lone Star Rd. & the S. US 287 Northbound Frontage Rd.

These intersections had been operating as flashing red lights during construction, but with the signals now fully active, drivers must stop, yield appropriately, and follow the updated light cycles.

🚗 Please use extra caution when approaching these intersections. Even if you're aware of the change, other drivers may not be. Give yourself—and others—extra time and space as everyone adjusts to the new traffic patterns.

We’re excited to see these improvements taking shape, and we appreciate your patience as we continue working toward a safer, smoother Mansfield!
