Hello everyone! Here is the MISD Clothes Closet wishlist! We are preparing to open for business after Back to School Bash. Right now, I have our donation bin closed still (because we have chances of rain at the end of the week) I will open that on Monday. I will also post at that time the gently used most needed items! Please make sure to add a comment and your schools name (not yours) because all items will go towards your PTA and earning tickets for the luncheon. Thanks!

Good morning! 😊

We’ve had several people reach out asking why the Clothes Closet isn’t open during the summer, so we wanted to share a quick explanation.

The Mansfield ISD Clothes Closet is run entirely by dedicated volunteers who generously give 8+ hours of their time every Monday throughout the school year. To allow those volunteers the opportunity to rest, recharge, and spend time with their own families, we close the Clothes Closet and pause donation intake during the month of June.

Even when donations are left on our porch, someone still has to make special trips to collect, sort, and secure them. While that may seem like a small task, it often requires significant time and coordination from our volunteer team.

We plan to begin accepting donations again in July (weather permitting) as we return to clean, organize, and prepare the Clothes Closet to serve students for the upcoming school year.

We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding, support, and generosity. Thank you for helping us care for our volunteers so they can continue caring for our students! ❤️

GM! I have to take my daughter to a doc appt at 8 am. I’m praying we are done by 9. If not, I maybe a little late today to the clothes closet. I will have to leave briefly around 10:15 to take her to MHS when her BBIA bus would be dropping her off. Thanks!
