It was a sad week last week. Captain Jim Robinson, longtime Friends of the Library board president, was such an interesting guy! That man had been everywhere! And he had the map of the world with pins stuck in to prove it. The staff at the library has "their" people and Jim was one of Janelle's people. He loved, loved, loved to come to the library and bend Janelle's ear. As an observer Sarah remembers with fondness what a genuinely good time Jim would have chatting with Janelle. He will be missed.

We lost a good one last week. Dear sweet Jean Eales was a member of our library board for a very long time, until her health no longer made it possible. Sarah loved it when Jean would call her "kiddo". She was such a fun person. And she always had the most stylish tennis shoes! She will be missed by all of us at the library.
