In just a few days’ time we will have the tricks and treats in the bag for the year and it will not be long after that the Christmas lights will start appearing around town. The Fall has been beautiful and nearly perfect, and no ghostly dark and spooky feelings are to be found around here this year. In honor of Halloween today seems like a good day to revive our “Haunted Manhattan” edition from several years back.
Enjoy the weekend, stay safe, and don’t forget to “fall forward!”

‘Tis the season 👻... Manhattan Township Historical Society wants to hear your “ghost stories” related to Manhattan locations! First-hand experiences are of course the best but we’ll take a listen to any tall tale 🙂 Post them here 👇 or send a private message with your story, location, approximate date and time, and any other comments you may have. Remember, everyone is entitled to a good scare 🤓

End of September and early October brought in our annual visitors, the third-grade field trips from the Anna McDonald school. We had many groups on each of the days and tours were offered in each exhibit room. Until next year!

Hi all! Manhattan Museum is open today during the Taste of Fall celebrations, from 3-6 pm. Stop in to look at the variety of history on display! Museum is free and has something for all ages.
Caboose will not be open tonight due to repairs.

This event is open to adult Chamber members only. Future members are also welcome to attend as a guest for just $20. If you decide to join the Chamber, your $20 guest fee will be applied toward your membership.
