Another great example of the amazing outdoor adventure opportunities waiting right here in Clay County! 🚵‍♂️🌲

The Red Bird Crest 80K & 40K Mountain Bike Race returns on September 19 and will showcase some of Kentucky’s best mountain biking trails. Riders will experience challenging climbs, rocky technical sections, flowing single track, incredible descents, and breathtaking scenery throughout the beautiful Red Bird region. You might even spot an elk along the way! 🦌

With more than 70 miles of marked trails, Red Bird offers endless opportunities for exploration and adventure for riders of all skill levels.

Events like this continue to highlight why Clay County is becoming a premier destination for outdoor recreation and adventure tourism. From kayaking and hiking to mountain biking and our historic swinging bridges, the opportunities to Get Loose on the Goose and explore the great outdoors keep growing.

We’ll be sharing more details soon, along with vendor spotlights and ways to get to know the amazing local makers and growers joining us.
