🎯 Calling all Target shoppers!

If you’ve shopped at Target, you may already have Community Support votes waiting to be cast in the app!

Through Target Circle, shoppers earn votes with eligible purchases. During each voting period, Target Circle members can use those votes to help decide how Target distributes charitable funding among participating nonprofits—and Thompson Scholars Foundation is now one of them!

You can support our meaningful, local work in two easy ways:

    1.    Cast your votes for Thompson Scholars Foundation using the steps in the graphic below.
    2.    Tell your friends and family who shop at Target, and ask them to cast their votes, too!

It costs nothing, takes only a minute, and every vote helps bring more resources and opportunities to the young people we serve.

Our latest community service project is underway. It’s one part of our overall canning and quilting project supported through a 2-year Berea College Appalachian Fund Arts & Culture Grant. Scholars are refreshing the quilt signs throughout town that were originally made and donated by the Deann Stivers Allen family. We love seeing the older scholars carefully mentoring younger students as each child paints their own segment. When these are completed, we will unveil the refreshed quilt signs, and they will be hung back up in their original places.

NYT yesterday. ALC today.

It is the start of Year #2 for Dylan Grace.

Dylan's hard work is paying off. Through an incredible amount of Dual Credit courses taken during high school, as well as his perseverance on campus last year, he will begin Year #2 as a college JUNIOR!

When asked what he's most excited about this year, Dylan noted that he will get to spend more time in the classroom, observing other teachers in different school districts.

Dylan, your resilience and drive are an inspiration for us all. Happy Move-In Day! 🦅

Your Scholar family are always cheering for you! Go, Dylan, Go! 💙💛💚
