Sunday, Oct 18, 8:00AM. So, we compromised on the start time on our morning outreach. We went out later, 7:00AM. Chilly out. Gave out hoodies, sweatshirts, tarps, food, water, wool socks, emergency survival blankets, and handwarmers. :-)

Did outreach today. Delivered 50 pairs of socks, 24 emergency survival blankets, 8 wool blankets, 12 knitted cold weather hats, 20 sweatshirts, 18 pairs of shoes, 60 snack packs, 1 tent, 50 hand warmers, and 10 hygiene kits.

Can always use shoes, adult sizes, used and in good condition.

10/17/86 - Saturday, 4:00AM. Loaded up for outreach. A friend of ours suggested that we do not go out so early. Good advice.

We've been going out later.

This afternoon we will go out. Saturday aftrernoon in downtown Manchester can be busy. That's okay. We've got this down pretty well.

Got food, water, hygiene kits, sweatshirts, socks, handwarmers, blankets and throws, shoes galore, and hats.

A 'gathering day.' Mid-week we usually do shopping, (particularly at BJ's Wholesale Club and Walmart) etc to replenish our stocks of food, water, clothing, and hygiene items for our outreach. We also go to various places gathering up used, clean, in-season clothes.

Then comes the day(s) when we sort through what we have, package it up in batches for deliveries to the various places where we know unhoused folks in particular congregate.

It's a system, a process that produces results. :-)
