🐾What a weekend for our club, our club members, and our community!🐾
Without the final numbers, we had somewhere over 453 dogs this weekend in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.
We had three full forty dog finished flights, two thirty-plus dog seasoned flights and a forty dog started flight.
There is a huge list of folks to thank, that took time out of their weekend, away from their families, to help make this event run as flawlessly as possible!
We had a ton of positive comments about our kids, dads, and coaches running the sites.
Thank you Thayer 15U baseball team and all of the individual kids that stepped up to help us out. You ALL did a fantastic job and we appreciate you helping us this weekend.
We also want to thank J&J Farms and Joe Flynn for allowing us to utilize parts of their farms. With the extra dogs and flights of dogs we could not have pulled it off with out Joe allowing us to use one of his ponds. So, Thank You to all of the land owners. We hope everyone left the property better than they found it.
Our judges and site coordinators/marshalls are as listed:
Started : Gary Holmes/Randal Manor alongside Dennis Figge’ and Fred Smith knocked out 80 started dogs this weekend! Great job gentlemen!
Seasoned A : Cody Grisanti/Bobby McGhehey alongside Matthew Huff and Jeremy Brown!
Seasoned B : Eric Noel/Sean Clark alongside Jeremy Brown/Matthew Huff
These seasoned judges setup excellent seasoned level tests!
Finished A : Jimmy Brown/Roger Morton alongside Ty Capps and Brian Aston
Finished B : Michael Bullien/Stephanie Bullien alongside Chris Figge
Finished C : Linda Brewer/Lisa Neel alongside Ty Capps and Brian Aston
These finished flights were 40 dogs strong and these judges and coordinators worked their tails off to setup quality tests and get these dogs ran in a proper time frame! Great job to all of our Finished judges.
Lastly, their are so many behind the scenes people to thank, that make runs to town for ice and drinks, putting together site snack boxes for the kids, making all the lunches for the kids, selling merchandise, answering questions, not to mention the paperwork and points receipts and the list goes on.
Our President Cole Flanagan burning up all of his cell phone data the last three weeks just to get last minutes entries and scratches.
Nena Flanagan for assisting Cole with all the paperwork and answering questions all day at the headquarters tent.
Tina for making all the town runs, making all the lunches, snack boxes etc etc
And everyone of these club members from sunrise, to well after dark, taking care of last minute things to make sure the next day starts off smooth and on time.
Our club is growing in to a well oiled machine and we are blessed with some of the best spirited and hardest working members in HRC.
Last but not least, as always, we want to thank each and every handler, dog owner, pro trainer, and amateur trainer for choosing to come run our test. We saw license plates from Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, Missouri, and Arkansas. HRC operates on these folks’ time and money and our club really works hard to take care of you when you are here. We hope to have you back in the future.
Our Next Scheduled Test Date :
- September 26/27
