The HSCHS will meet on Monday, August 3, at 6pm. Our speaker will be Jean Harper. Jean will be sharing information about her ancestors who were early residents and leaders of HSC. She will tell of Colonel Daniel Morrison and his wife, Arabella "Belle" McLean and their life on Morrison Plantation. Please share this information with friends and invite them to come hear and learn about this interesting history of HSC.

July Potluck & Special Photo

I hope your 4th of July was a "blast" 💥 Everyone who wishes to be in the special Malvern-150 photo to be taken in front of Malvern City Hall should be there and in place at 5:30pm Monday evening, July 6. After the photo is taken, we will go to 118 West 2nd Street for the 4th of July Potluck, good food and lots of fun. Bring your favorite food and a friend if possible. We hope to see you there! Just a reminder that tomorrow night at 6pm, we will have the 2nd presentation in our "Early Leaders of Hot Spring County Series" Kinney Black will introduce you to one of our county's "earliest" settlers: J. H. Alexander. He has a very colorful man with a very eventful history. Come, get acquainted with the"Big" man. Hope to see YOU at 6pm in the 118 West 2nd building.
