Our October Community Service at the October Meeting will be decorating lunch bags for Kids' Meals to end childhood hunger.

We will supply the bags! Members bring your ideas of fall sayings & fall art to decorate the bags. Pumpkins, fall leaves, & Thanksgiving ideas would be great! You could do “A is for Apple” & draw an apple. There are kinds of great ideas!

Bring markers if you have extra ones.

I can’t wait to see everyone’s ideas!

October Meeting is Tuesday, October 20th at 7 pm in the cafeteria at JL Lyon Elementary.

$12 per pound. Let us know if you need pecans for that holiday baking! These are THE BEST pecans!! They will be in the 3rd week of November so you can get your baking done for the holidays!!

See a Magnolia 4-H Club Member to purchase pecans!! This is a fundraiser for the county & our club!

Orders with payment are due to be turned in to Tammy Ahrendt (pecan leader) BY Sunday, October 18th! Orders & money will turned in to the county office on Monday, October 19th. This is BEFORE our October meeting on Tuesday, October 20th. Please make arrangements to get them to Tammy Ahrendt on time. Late orders will be $12.50 per pound.

🍀We had 2 teams represent Magnolia 4H Club this weekend in Food Challenge at Heart o’ Texas Fair & Livestock Show in Waco. Congratulations to the Dirty Dishes team (Tatum Berna, Briley Adams & Keegan Gottschalk) for winning 3rd place overall! The Lonestar Chefs (Zayne Patterson, Brinson Patterson & Kauri Gottschalk) also did great! Way to go!! Proud of y’all!!🍀
