Community Member Spotlight 🌟

Allie Jo Brister serves on our Promotions Committee and is always hard at work behind the scenes at our events. You may find her serving in the concession stand at the Sportsplex, mixing up lemonade at the Main Street Magee tent, setting up sound equipment, or stepping in wherever she is needed.

She is always one of the first to volunteer and is willing to help plan, work, and serve in any way she can. We love Allie Jo and are so grateful for her heart for service and her genuine love for our city! 💙

We are incredibly grateful for our city leadership, who consistently show up and support our community events. Their partnership makes so much of what we do possible! Alderman Berch isn’t pictured but she was hard at work directing the parade.

We also want to thank PriorityOne Bank, The Vault, Peoples Bank, and Simpson Nutrition for sponsoring our Back to School Bash. These organizations are truly community-minded, and we couldn’t do half of what we do without their continued support.

Thank you for always investing in Magee and helping us create special experiences for our community!

If you need proof that our board knows how to have a good time, just watch this video! 🎤

Board President Lee Maddox took the stage with his daughter, Little Miss Magee Hospitality Emelia Maddox. Vice President Allison Clark sang with one of our community members, board member and The Vault owner Merika Kalman joined Emelia for a song, and board member and Promotions Committee Chair Phillip Peacock grabbed the microphone, too!

A huge thank-you to Parks & Recreation Director Susan Mangum, who kept the karaoke going all day and served as our parade emcee. After she coerced us all in to singing, she sang and knocked our socks with her voice! We had the best time partnering with the Magee Parks & Recreation Department to host this year’s Back to School Bash!

Our board and community didn’t just show up—they showed out! 😂 If you want to be a part of a fun organization that serves the community, we would love for you to join us!

Karaoke on Main Street was a hit! From the little ones to the grown-ups, everyone had the best time grabbing the microphone and singing their favorite songs at the Back to School Bash.

We loved seeing all the smiles, confidence, and fun times—we may have discovered a few future stars! 🎤

Our Magee Fire Department helped make the Back to School Splash one the kids will never forget! From cooling everyone off with the fire truck sprinkler to cooking those delicious hamburgers, they were right in the middle of all the fun.

We are so thankful for our firefighters and the way they continually show up for our community. They truly are the best! That was such a neat experience for our kids in the community! 🚒💦

Our Mighty Trojans showed out at the Back to School Bash! We are always so grateful for our Magee Trojan band and cheerleaders and the way they happily support our community events.

A special thank-you to two incredible leaders, Coach McCann and band director Nathan, for the time, energy, and heart they pour into these students. They represent Magee so well and make us proud every time!

It sure is great to be a Trojan! ❤️🩶 We may be bias but we know we have the BEST band and cheer squad!
