Join 350 Wisconsin, Faith in Place, and Healthy Climate Wisconsin at 6:30 PM on Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 19 for “Wisconsin’s Environmental Future: A Nonpartisan Gubernatorial Forum”, a two-part event featuring the candidates running for Governor of Wisconsin!

We’ll be hearing questions from voters across the state, asking questions about our state’s clean energy future, green jobs, community resilience, energy justice, energy affordability, and more.

“Dugan’s legal team filed a motion arguing that a recent U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision changed the precedent governing the legal interpretation of the federal statute under which Dugan was convicted. The decision, in United States v. Hernandez, held that immigration proceedings do not include deportation operations, relevant since Dugan … was convicted of obstructing an immigration “proceeding.””

Attorneys argued about a new precedent ahead of sentencing of former Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan as her defense pushes for acquittal.

The increased, of course opposed by the GOP, is supported by 78% of Virginians, according to a poll by Christopher Newport University’s Wason Center.

Good news!
This is how we need to be fighting back.

MAJOR: Illinois Governor JB Pritzker just made it clear that Democrats are not going to sit back and let MAGA Republicans rig the system without a fight. If Republicans want to use redistricting to protect their power, Illinois is ready to respond by creating three additional Democratic seats.

This is exactly the kind of toughness Democrats need right now. For too long, Republicans have played dirty while expecting Democrats to play nice. Governor Pritzker is showing what it looks like to fight back with power, strategy, and backbone.

MAGA wanted a fight? They got one. Thank you, Governor Pritzker, for refusing to let Republicans bully their way into permanent control. This is how Democrats win.
