Update: Where do Florida’s gubernatorial candidates stand on the Florida Voting Rights Act? We asked every candidate to sign a simple pledge to support and work to pass the Act — and we’re sharing their responses in a transparent, nonpartisan pledge tracker. We have since updated the tracker to reflect the candidates who will appear on the General election ballot. Additionally, David Jolly has committed to pass the Florida Voting Rights Act if elected.

This past weekend we joined the League of Women Voters of Orange County, volunteers and partners for “Unite & Rise” a final push event to send thousands of targeted text messages and handwritten postcards to precinct residents in Orange County! We were also joined by Engage Florida, Central Florida Urban League, All Voting is Local, the ACLU of Florida, Common Cause, Florida Rising, the NAACP and the “Divine Nine” Fraternities and Sororities — Omega Psi Phi (Chi Tau Chapter), Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. (Delta Omicron Omega Chapter) and Phi Beta Sigma (Gamma Delta Sigma Chapter) at Shiloh Baptist Church in Paramore.
