Another wonderful day sharing my Choose to Include/Buddy Bandana program with local elementary students! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงก

I visited Ms. Leiser's classroom and talked about the importance of kindness, friendship, and inclusion. I shared my experience with Best Buddies and the special friendship I have with my best buddy, Elizabeth.

Each student received one of my specially-designed Buddy Bandanas to tie onto their backpack as a reminder to make others feel welcome, celebrate differences, and choose inclusion every day.

We also had an important conversation about disabilities, including the fact that some disabilities are visible and some are not. Understanding and accepting one another starts with kindness.

I love seeing students embrace the message that everyone deserves to belong.

My third video in my Points of the Crown video series highlights the "Style" point of the crown.

For me, style means embracing the things that make me feel most like myself, sooo...welcome to my very pink college apartment!๐Ÿ’“

l've always loved feminine details, soft colors, and anything a little girly. When I was younger, I sometimes felt like those things weren't "cool," so I tried to tone them down. But as I've gotten older, I've realized there's confidence in embracing what genuinely makes you happy, even if that means bows, florals, and pink decor! ๐Ÿฉท

To me, style isn't about following trends; it's about authenticity. The best style reflects who you are, and I've learned that being unapologetically yourself never goes out of fashion.

For my second video in my Points of the Crown series, I'm highlighting educational scholarship.
Through my journey as Miss Madison alone, I've earned $1,300 in scholarships, and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities the Miss America Opportunity provides to young women across the country.

The Miss America Opportunity is widely recognized as the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women, and its impact reaches far beyond the stage.

Having learning disabilities isn't something I talk about often โ€” not because I'm embarrassed, but because it's simply been my normal. I'm proud to be a fourth-generation Dean's List Badger, and even prouder to show that success can look different for everyone.

Scholarship has given me the chance to pursue my goals with confidence, and I'm so thankful to Miss America for empowering young women through education and opportunity.

Although technically not one of the four points of the crown, to me, SISTERHOOD is the foundation of the crown. Sisterhood represents the support, encouragement, and shared mission that connects us. It's bond that makes the journey truly special, providing a family of empowered women who uplift each other. It fosters a community where friendships grow into family, offering support through shared experiences, late-night laughs, and mutual encouragement, both on and off the stage.

Getting to know my teen counterpart, Meredith, as well as my fellow local delegates, has been such an empowering and fun experience. These young women are some of the most accomplished and talented people I've ever met, and I am loving every second of the sisterhood foundation of the crown!
