Garion made one of the most important decisions of his young life, he publicly declared his faith in Jesus Christ through baptism.

Now, the real journey begins. Following Christ doesn’t mean the road will be easy. There will be tests, temptations, distractions, and moments when the world tries to pull him in a different direction. There will be days when standing for what is right won’t be popular. But baptism is a declaration that no matter what comes, he has chosen to put his faith in God and trust Him to guide his steps.

Our job is to continue encouraging him, praying for him, and reminding him that he never has to face those challenges alone. God’s grace is sufficient, His strength is made perfect in weakness, and His promises never fail. We are proud of you, Garion. Keep your eyes on God, stay rooted in His Word, and remember that every test is an opportunity for Him to strengthen your faith and shape your testimony. The same God who brought you through the water will walk with you through every storm.

We had a great time at the Rocket City Trash Pandas’ Juneteenth & Negro Leagues Tribute Night! Good baseball, good conversations, and another opportunity to expose our young men to history while creating memories together. Nights like this are what it’s all about.

This summer, our League of Legacy Mentoring Program is committed to giving young men experiences that inspire growth, confidence, brotherhood, and unforgettable memories and we need your help to make it happen.

One of the major experiences we have planned is a trip to Six Flags for the young men in our program. For many of them, opportunities like this are bigger than just a fun day trip… they are moments that build confidence, connection, joy, and lasting memories.

We are currently seeking donors and sponsors as soon as possible to help us continue creating positive opportunities and safe spaces for the youth we serve throughout the summer.

The cost to sponsor one young man is $80, which covers admission, food, and transportation. Any amount helps and every donation goes directly toward impacting the lives of these young men.
