🚨 WE MOVED! 🚨

The Downeast Recovery Support Center in Machias has officially moved from 11 Free Street to 6 Colonial Way in Machias!

And the best part was that we literally only had to cross the street to get there! 😅😂

You’ll find us in the yellow building pictured below. The Adult Education Center sign is still on the building for the moment, but we’ll be getting that changed over the next few days! When you walk into the building, we are the door on the LEFT! The door on the right is the Democrats' office.

💥 IMPORTANT: Our phones and internet will not be up and running for the next couple of weeks while we get settled into our new location. In the meantime, if you need to reach the Recovery Center, please call Chelsey at (207) 263-8755.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but the Calais Recovery Center hours are going to be a little different than usual starting 9/14/26.

These are the planned hours we will be open
9/14 Monday- 9:00am-12:30pm
9/15 Tuesday- 9:00am-1:00pm
9/16 Wednesday- 9:00am-2:00pm
9/17 Thursday- 10:00am-2:00pm
9/18 Friday- 1:00pm-5:00pm

Again, we are so sorry for the added stress this may cause you and appreciate your patience and understanding. We hope to be back at our regular hours soon. Thank you!

FINAL REMINDER – PERSONAL BELONGINGS

As we work on getting the Machias Recovery Center cleaned up, organized, and decluttered, we are asking anyone who has personal belongings being held at the center to please make arrangements to pick them up by the end of today.

We have previously given notice regarding these items, so this will be our final reminder.

If you have belongings at the center, please stop in today or contact us to arrange a pickup. We unfortunately cannot continue storing personal items indefinitely due to limited space.
