🛍️ Shop for a Cause at Bomgaars Ladies Night! 💗

Join us for Ladies Night TONIGHT from 5-8pm at BomgaarsSupply, where 5% of proceeds will go toward purchasing groceries, clothing, personal care items, and other essential supplies for women and children navigating the process of leaving abuse situations.

Leaving an unsafe situation often means starting over with very little. Your support helps provide some of the basic necessities families need as they take steps toward safety and a fresh start.

Every purchase makes an impact, and together, we can show women and children in our community that they are not alone. 💜

Come on out to Bomgaars in Lyons this Sunday November 1st for Ladies Night! 5pm-8pm where you can enjoy in-store discounts, giveaways, and put money directly back into the Lyons community.

5% of all sales will go towards supporting our advocacy work. With our imminent rebrand to Central Kansas Advocacy Center, these donations will allow us to support both women and children and to provide advocacy that families need when dealing with stressful and traumatic experiences. Every dollar is appreciated and utilized to reinforce the message that help is local, help is accessible, and help is important.

Recently our CAC got the privilege of helping at the MS/HS for Reality U, which is an interactive, one-day financial literacy and life-skills simulation that gives middle and high school students a hands-on preview of adult finances and budgeting. We had so much fun and appreciate Christi-Brad Powell Reid for asking us to join in!

This week Sgt. Cory Ryan with City of Lyons Police Department and our newest Forensic Interviewer & Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator, Lesly Jaime, are representing the Rice County Multidisciplinary Team at Child First KS!

This week long class is the beginning of their journey in Forensic Interviewing! Wish them luck as tomorrow they get the opportunity to test their new skills in a mock interview, as well as test their knowledge!
