With thankful hearts, we remember Dolly Parton and the lasting gift she gave to children through the Imagination Library.

Because of her compassion and vision, children receive free books that nurture imagination, learning, and a lifelong love of reading. Inspired by her father’s inability to read and write, Dolly created a program that continues to change lives one book at a time.

Rice County Community Foundation is proud to support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Fund in Rice County, helping local children from birth to age 5 receive books each month.

🎉 Hats off to Rice County Economic Development and the Learning Center! 👏💙

It's always exciting to see great things happening across Rice County!

The Rice County Community Foundation is proud to have supported the Learning Center through a grant awarded during our 2025 Community Grant Cycle. Seeing these funds put into action to benefit children, families, and our communities is exactly what community philanthropy is all about.

A special hats off to Rice County Economic Development for their continued partnership and commitment to strengthening our communities. When organizations work together with a shared vision, the impact reaches far beyond any one project.
