of Lynn has been providing after school programs and services to girls and their families, and advocating on behalf of girls and women. of Lynn is a special place where girls choose to come and participate in enrichment programs, where they are given the tools, opportunities and encouragement to grow into confident, independent and self-fulfilled young women. We encourage girls to reach their full

potential by providing challenging, gender-specific, age-appropriate programs that teach essential life skills and promote healthy life choices. Last year 1,384 youth were served by our programs and outreach services.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎓

Meet Amelia, one of our graduates and Girl Hero Scholarship winner who will soon embark on her college journey at Merrimack College! Amelia plans to study Elementary Education and is excited to grow both personally and academically through new courses, experiences, and connections. A dedicated member of Girls Inc. for the past four years, she says one of the most meaningful parts of her experience has been building lasting relationships with mentors and peers. Meet Adriana, one of our graduates and Girl Hero Scholarship winner who will soon embark on her college journey at Mount Holyoke! She plans to major in Computer Science and is looking forward to meeting tons of new and interesting people, having a roommate, and many other firsts. Last week, we celebrated the final day of tutoring in our school-age program! Our girls worked hard all year, and we're so proud of their dedication and growth. Over the course of 20 weeks, we served 13 girls through 150 one-on-one sessions.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who showed up week after week to encourage, mentor, and support our girls as they continue to become strong, smart, and bold. Your commitment made a lasting impact, and we couldn't have done it without you! 💪❤️

They spent time carefully selecting books to share with others and placed them in Little Free Libraries throughout Lynn. Along the way, they talked about what it means to give back and the importance of making resources accessible to everyone. This past Friday, we welcomed more than 130 students and hosted 7 amazing community organizations from Boston and Lynn to our 2026 Teen Health Carnival! 🎪

Our incredible Peer Ambassadors — Nella, Frankie, Latí, and Misell— brought the mission of Strong, Smart & Bold to life through fun, engaging, and impactful activities

They also proudly shared an amazing milestone: over 6,637 menstrual products donated across 6 Lynn middle and high schools!

Last week, we had a very special guest reader visit us — Belkis Sanchez! She read her published book, My Feelings and My Body, and the girls had a wonderful time. They especially loved that the book was written in both English and Spanish.

After the reading, the girls participated in a fun self-love activity where they used paint markers to draw and write things they love about themselves. It was a meaningful and creative experience for everyone!
