Prince is still looking for his forever home! He might be a big boy, but he sure has to keep an eye out for little sticks in his path!

He has been with our fosters since November 2025, and while he loves spending time with them, he would much rather be with his furevers!

Getting him into his forever home will not only be the most exciting thing for Prince but will also allow our amazing fosters to help us save more pups just like Prince!

Some more info on Prince!
Prince is looking for a committed home that understands large working breeds and can provide structure, guidance, and continued training. While affectionate and devoted to his people, Prince is a confident dog that requires responsible ownership and continued socialization to reach his full potential.
Ideal adopters will have experience with large breeds or be willing to invest time into his training and ongoing development.
Prince is naturally suspicious of people due to his breed's genetic background and should be introduced to people slowly and on his terms. The best way to win him over is to greet him on leash using a hot dog. Prince will do anything for an all-beef hot dog!
If you are looking for a dog that is loyal, intelligent, protective, confident, alert, and highly devoted to family, Prince is your type of dog!

Approx 4 years old
approx 93 lbs
Neutered Male
Up to date on Vaccines & Vetting
Heartworm negative
Does well with cats & other pups
House Trained
If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an application on our website: https://kanesmission.org/adoptionapplication

Here is Kovu's official introduction to the rescue team!

Husky
Male-to be neutered soon
Approx. 2 years old
In the process of getting vetted and vaccinated
Approx. 58 lbs

Kovu was pulled from Cleveland Animal Care & Control. He kept coming in as a stray, and this time no one claimed him as their own. He is currently with an amazing Husky savvy foster who is giving him the love he needs, but he would absolutely love to find that perfect place to call his own! Kovu is still new to the rescue, so we are learning more about him each day!

He does great with other pups and seems to be a gentle giant! He is underweight, so his foster is working on getting him some yummy food to help him reach a healthy weight!

He does have issues with entropion, so we are working on getting a consultation with an ophthalmologist here soon!

Could you be this cutie pie's forever home?

It's Five Dollar Friday!
We are asking you all to donate just $5 on this Five-Dollar Friday. It might mean a cup of coffee to you, but it means the world to us & the pups in our care! If everyone following our page donates just $5, we would be able to pay for Beau’s neuter which was today! This will also help cover the remaining costs for other spays and neuters. Beau might also need surgery to help open his airways for issues with his brachiocephalic breed!Kovu is also getting set up for a consultation with an ophthalmologist to get his eye/eyelid issues under control! Plus, we would be able to pay off the remaining vet bills that we have & continue to pull more dogs! You can donate through Facebook or go to our website to see other ways to donate: https://kanesmission.org/donate
