We have four members of our team that have been selected for the Whiz Bang Finals in October! Each of these competitors is in the top five in their classification across the state!

We loved the TU-Mile Sportsmen's Association banquet last week. They had tons of raffles, auctions, and prizes for kids. This is their main fundraiser for the year. We had 4-H members, leaders, and our county agent attend!

Our team had so much fun at the Barbers Hill 4-H Shoot, the last 4-H event of the year! They had a fun day of competing with friends!

Four of our members made it to the Finals for their age division!

Brantley — 1st Place
Ace — 3rd Place

Junior/ Intermediate Ladies
Allie — 3rd Place
Braycie — 4th Place

Ben, Waylon, Coy, and Rowe also had a really fun day with several of them hitting personal bests!

Braycie shot at the Texas Shotgun Shootout and Larry Ratheal Scholarship Shoot in San Angelo, July 9-11. It was a great experience and a learning opportunity.

She shot International S***t and Trap for the first time along with American s***t, trap, sporting clays and 5 stand.

Braycie is already looking forward to attending next year. We are excited to see her grow as a shooter and active 4-H member. 🍀

Our team of Rowe, Coy, Brantlee, Ace, Braycie, Ben, Allie, Tessa, and Eddie wrapped up a GREAT week at 4-H State Games! This is one of our favorite events of the year. We were so excited to have such a large number of competitors from Polk County. Our team did awesome, and many “personal bests” were scored this week!

We enjoyed hanging out with friends, making new friends, and getting more experience in the sport.

Allie said the prayer Friday morning at the Safety Meeting too!

We have started our last big competition for the year -
🍀 4-H 🍀 State Games!

Tuesday our coaches and parents were in the adult competition and had a blast! The kids enjoyed watching and giving advice. 🤣

Our kids started competing today. We will have more join us this week!
