Today, our hearts are with our friend Andrew and his family as they mourn the loss of their beloved service dog, Gunner.

Some dogs are pets. Some are companions. And then there are extraordinary dogs like Gunner dogs whose impact reaches far beyond their family and leaves a lasting mark on everyone around them.

For 14 incredible years, Gunner was a loyal friend, protector, service dog, teammate, and source of strength. He stood by Andrew through life’s toughest battles and greatest victories, helping shape a journey that inspired countless people along the way. Through his unconditional love, devotion, and unwavering presence, Gunner became much more than a dog he became family.

The bond between a person and their service dog is difficult to put into words. It is built on trust, sacrifice, companionship, and love. Gunner exemplified all of those qualities and more. His story is a testament to the incredible difference one animal can make in the lives of so many.

On behalf of everyone at Return Kindness, we extend our deepest condolences, love, and support to Andrew, Jill, Jacob, Colton, Harlan, and all who were blessed to know and love Gunner.

And Gunner, thank you. Thank you for your loyalty, your service, and your unconditional love. Most importantly, thank you for sharing your human with all of us. Because of you, Andrew was able to impact countless lives, build meaningful friendships, strengthen communities, and inspire others through his story. Your paw prints are not only on his heart, but on the hearts of so many people who were fortunate enough to know him because of you.

While our hearts ache for your loss, we hope you find comfort in knowing that Gunner’s legacy will continue to live on through the lives he touched, the memories he created, and the love he shared so freely.

Run free, Gunner. Your watch is over, your work here is done, and it was a job well done. You will never be forgotten.

Please keep Andrew and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. ❤️🐾

Tonight, our hearts are with Xavier, his family, his teammates, and the entire Maple Shade community.

No words can truly ease the pain of a tragedy, but we hope they can feel the love, prayers, and support being sent from so many people. Baseball is more than a game it creates friendships, memories, and a sense of family that extends far beyond the field. When one member of that family is hurting, we all hurt together.

As a community, let us come together to lift Xavier and his loved ones up in prayer. May they find strength during the difficult days ahead, comfort in the love that surrounds them, and hope in knowing they are not facing this alone.

From all of us at Return Kindness, we are praying for Xavier’s family and the entire Maple Shade community.

❤️ COMMUNITY IS BUILT BY PEOPLE WHO CARE ❤️

Return Kindness was never created for recognition, profit, or attention. It was created for one reason… to help people who feel forgotten.

Over the past year we’ve supported local schools, families, shelters, community events, and individuals going through difficult times and we’re only getting started.

But real change doesn’t happen alone.

We are currently looking for:
• Volunteers who want to make a difference
• Local businesses willing to partner
• Sponsors and donors to help expand our outreach
• Community members who simply want to give back

No act of kindness is too small.

Whether it’s donating your time, sharing our mission, sponsoring an event, or helping a family in need every contribution helps us reach another person who may be struggling silently.

Our vision is bigger than giveaways and events. We want to build something that truly impacts communities for generations to come.

If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something positive, uplifting, and community driven… this is your sign.

Together we can remind people that kindness still exists. ❤️

As major events like the upcoming FIFA World Cup bring people from all over the world together in celebration, it’s also important to recognize the darker realities that often rise behind the scenes. Studies and awareness groups continue to report increases in human and s*x trafficking surrounding large-scale sporting events and tourism gatherings.

At Return Kindness, we believe awareness saves lives. Trafficking does not always look like the movies. It can happen in hotels, airports, rest stops, online, and even in our own communities. Victims are often manipulated, controlled, and silenced.

We encourage everyone to stay alert, protect our youth, and educate ourselves on the warning signs. A simple conversation, a shared post, or reporting suspicious activity could help save someone from exploitation.

Let’s come together not only as fans of the game, but as advocates for humanity. The greatest victory will always be protecting people and standing against exploitation.

There’s something special about showing up for the next generation especially when they’ve put in the work all season long.

Today we had the opportunity to give back to the Lumberton Middle School track team as they wrap up their season. Long practices, dedication, and pushing through the finish line deserve to be recognized, and we’re grateful to play a small part in celebrating these young athletes.

A big thank you to Pac A Sak for stepping up and helping make this happen, and a special shoutout to Coach Petras for the time, leadership, and commitment you pour into these kids all season long. It truly makes a difference.

It’s bigger than pizza… it’s about encouragement, unity, and reminding these kids that their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Proud of every one of you finish strong!
