💚THE POWER OF KINDNESS — PASS IT ON! 💚

Today, while out and about, we stopped by Red Star Pizza in Southampton, NJ, where we witnessed something that reminded us just how much kindness still exists in this world.

As we walked in, we noticed a gentleman getting out of his Jeep with the biggest smile, genuinely enjoying his day. We ended up behind him in line as he picked up his ham salad.

His happiness was contagious, so we decided to quietly pay for his lunch.

When he realized what happened, he smiled and said, “God bless you.”

Those three words were worth more than any amount of money.

But the story didn’t end there!

The young man behind the counter at Red Star Pizza witnessed this simple act of kindness and decided to pay it forward himself by covering our entire order! 💚

That moment spoke volumes about the people behind this local business. It wasn’t about making a sale or getting recognition. It was a young man who saw an opportunity to make someone’s day better and acted on it.

In a time when good customer service and genuine kindness can sometimes feel hard to find, Red Star Pizza reminded us that there are still wonderful people and businesses in our communities.

We encourage everyone traveling through Southampton, NJ, to stop by Red Star Pizza, enjoy a meal, and support a local business that clearly understands the meaning of giving back.

God has a beautiful way of reminding us that kindness doesn’t cost much, but its impact can be priceless.

🌸 A Little Kindness Can Bloom Into Something Beautiful! 🌸

Sometimes, the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference in someone’s day. ❤️

Today, Return Kindness would like to recognize The Flower Junction, located at 708 Main Street in Lumberton, for their wonderful “Petal It Forward” initiative! 💐

The concept is simple but powerful. Take two bouquets of flowers, keep one for yourself, and give the other to someone else. It could be a friend, a neighbor, a stranger, or someone who simply needs a reason to smile.

It’s not about the flowers themselves. It’s about the kindness, the connection, and the reminder that someone cares.

This is exactly the kind of community spirit we love seeing and supporting!

Thank you to The Flower Junction for reminding us that kindness doesn’t have to be complicated to make a lasting impact. ❤️

Together, we can continue making positive changes in the communities we call home.

🐾❤️ THIS is what community is all about! ❤️🐾

We absolutely love seeing organizations, businesses, law enforcement, and neighbors come together for a cause like this. Supporting our K9 units while helping these amazing dogs get the attention and love they deserve is truly something special.

But we have to say… it looks like Officer Gonteski and Martin might just be a match made in heaven! 🐕👮‍♂️❤️ Sometimes a picture tells the whole story, and these two certainly look like they belong together.

So, Officer Gonteski, we’re putting it out there: if you’re willing to give Martin his FUREVER home, Return Kindness will gladly cover the adoption/donation fees. 🐾🏡

Consider that our little push from the community. 😉❤️

This is what kindness looks like people coming together, supporting one another, and maybe even helping a four-legged friend find exactly where he belongs.

There’s just something special about the Christmas season the lights, the laughter, the excitement of children, and a community coming together to spread a little extra kindness. ❤️

On Saturday, December 5th, from 10AM–1PM, Return Kindness invites you to join us for our Cars & Coffee Toy Drive! 🎅🚗☕🎁

Bring the family, check out some beautiful cars, enjoy light refreshments, visit with Santa, and most importantly, bring a new, unwrapped toy to help us put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas.

This year will also be especially meaningful to our family. Our Toy Drive is dedicated to the memory of Joseph M. Feeney, a man who loved his family, his friends, his cars, and the joy of simply being together.

One of our amazing neighbors is looking to pay it forward by donating firewood to local families who may be in need.

The firewood is FREE all we ask is that you pick it up and self load.

Sometimes giving back doesn’t have to be complicated. It can simply be seeing something you have, realizing someone else may need it, and choosing to help. That’s what being a great neighbor and a strong community is all about.

Today, Return Kindness and our liaison, C’Andre Daniels, had the honor of receiving a special invitation to visit our brothers at Mount Holly Lodge #14 F&AM.

From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with true brotherhood and hospitality. We had the opportunity to learn about the incredible history of the Lodge and its deep roots within the Mount Holly community, while also receiving a tour and hearing stories that reminded us just how important it is to preserve and understand our local history.

What we didn’t expect was the surprise they had waiting for us.

The brothers of Mount Holly Lodge #14 generously presented Return Kindness with a donation to help officially kick off this year’s Christmas Toy Drive. 🎄🎁

Their generosity will help us put smiles on the faces of local children and make Christmas a little brighter for families throughout our community.

We are incredibly grateful for the invitation, the history shared with us, the fellowship, and most importantly, the brotherhood.

This is what community looks like good people standing beside good people, working together for something bigger than ourselves.

Return Kindness Community Spotlight — Chief John Harris

Some people lead from the front. Chief John Harris leads from beside you.

Return Kindness would like to recognize Edgewater Park Police Chief John Harris for being much more than an exceptional Police Chief. He is a hands-on community leader, mentor, advocate, and genuinely good person with an incredibly big heart.

Chief Harris isn’t the type of leader who wants people standing behind him, he wants them standing next to him. Whether he’s serving food at a community event, interacting with our children, shooting hoops with them, shaking a young person’s hand, or simply taking the time to listen, he leads by being present.

There’s no task beneath his title and no person beneath his attention.

What makes Chief Harris special isn’t the badge, the rank, or the title. It’s the man wearing them. He understands that true leadership isn’t about authority. It’s about relationships, trust, compassion, and service.

Our children don’t just see a Police Chief when they see Chief Harris. They see someone who smiles with them, talks with them, plays with them, and shows them firsthand that law enforcement can be a positive and caring part of their community.

At Return Kindness, we believe the strongest communities are built by people willing to roll up their sleeves and work alongside others. Chief Harris embodies exactly that.

Chief Harris, thank you for never asking your community to follow behind you, but instead inviting them to walk beside you. Thank you for leading with your heart and reminding us what community policing and servant leadership are truly supposed to look like.

People like you don’t simply serve a community. You become of part of its hearts💙🤎

RETURN KINDNESS — CAUGHT BEING KIND

4 Weeks • 5 Winners Every Week • 20 Students Recognized

For the first month of school, we’re challenging students to make kindness contagious.

Each week, 5 students will be selected for demonstrating genuine kindness toward a classmate, teacher, staff member, or someone in their community. Each winner receives a Switch Board Trick + Cruiser.

Students can be nominated by teachers, school staff, parents, coaches, bus drivers, or fellow students.

No grades. No popularity contest. No purchase.
Just young people being recognized for doing something good for someone else.

20 students. 20 acts of kindness recognized. One month to show just how far kindness can spread.

DO GOOD. BE KIND. GET CAUGHT.

🚔🐾 RETURN KINDNESS IS PROUD TO SUPPORT MOUNT LAUREL! 🐾🚔

We’re excited to join the Mount Laurel Police Department, Mount Laurel FOP Lodge 191, and their K9 Unit for the 2nd Annual Rolling With The K9s Car Show on Saturday, September 19th!

Events like this are about much more than cars. They’re an opportunity for our community to come together, meet the men and women who serve it, support the K9 Unit, and enjoy a great day with our neighbors.

Return Kindness will be there with our 1957 Ford Thunderbird, so make sure you stop by, say hello, check out the car, and learn how you could have the opportunity to take it home!
