Harvey’s dedication, friendship, service, and commitment to veterans and our community left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. While we mourn his loss, we also gather to remember the memories, stories, and legacy he leaves behind.

🇺🇸 VFW Day of Service 🇺🇸

Today, members of Veterans of Foreign Wars SGT. Joshua D. Desforges VFW Post 3236 Ludlow, MA and SGT. Joshua D. Desforges VFW Auxiliary Post 3236 Ludlow, MA are proud to take part in the Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW Day of Service right here in Ludlow, MA by giving back to those who gave everything.

Our team is out at our local cemeteries, working to clean and care for the resting places of our nation’s heroes—ensuring their sacrifice is never forgotten and their final resting places are treated with the honor and respect they deserve.

This is what the VFW stands for: continued service, remembrance, and community. Even after the uniform comes off, the mission to serve never ends.

If you see our volunteers out today, give them a wave—or better yet, join us. There is no greater way to honor our fallen than through action.

The Ludlow Police Department will be at Big Y (433 Center Street, Ludlow, MA) on Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM collecting non-perishable food items.

All donations will go directly to support the Ludlow Veterans Center, helping local veterans in need.

If you’re out shopping that day, consider picking up a few extra items and stopping by to donate. Every little bit helps and makes a difference in our community.
