Buffalo Township United Fund

Buffalo Township United Fund Solicits and distributes funds to 15 local charities annually BTUF is not affiliated in any way with either the State or National United Way Agency.

We do not pay dues, are not members and do not answer to them. The Board of Directors are all volunteers. Absolutely no one is compensated in any way for his or her time and efforts. Because they volunteer not only their time and expertise, but often donate funds and goods, our administrative costs are less than 1%. That means that 99% of the funds received are actually distributed to the Recipien

t Agencies. BTUF is a First Dollar Organization. This means that funds are disbursed as they are available up to, but not exceeding, the allocated amounts unless there is an overage in contributions. This means that should you designate a specific Recipient Agency to receive your contribution, that money will be allocated to that Agency. If BTUF meets its budget, that Agency will receive the designated Board approved budgeted amount, as well as your designated contribution. If BTUF does not meet its budget and it is necessary for all of the Recipient Agencies to be cut a percentage based on the contributions received, then any Agency which has had funds designated to it will receive those funds, up to but not exceeding the approved budgeted amount.

Spotlight on agencies served by Buffalo Township United Fund.

Boy Scout Troop 156 and Cub Scouts- The mission of Scouting is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Discovery is at the heart of Scouting. Whether it’s a campout, derby car race, or a hike on the trail, every adventure helps scouts uncover a little more about ourselves. Scouting builds the foundations for humility and compassion—strengthening character through actions—to prepare youth for a lifetime of leadership.

Buffalo Township United Fund is proud to support out local troop.
