ETMHD is a small rescue made up of volunteers who want to make a big difference in the lives of small equines. Our mission is three fold:

To be a safety net for miniature horses, donkeys and mules that are at risk of being homeless or going to auction. To educate potential adopters and mini owners of the care and needs of these little equines.

🐴💙 RESCUE ME FRIDAY — SILVER NEEDS YOUR HELP! 💙🐴

Silver is one of our beloved sanctuary minis, and last week he suffered an eye injury. We’re treating it and doing everything we can to protect that precious eye.

Unfortunately, Silver has decided that his fly mask is NOT part of his healing plan. 😂🙈

He’s been working hard to get it off — and judging by this picture, he’s pretty darn good at it! 🤣

Behind the laughs is a little mini who needs continued veterinary care and supplies. Would you help us help Silver heal? ❤️

One week from today Infinitely Able Pets Orthotics & Prosthetics will be working on Anne's leg as well as some of the animals at Ava’s Animals Rescue & Sanctuary. We want to give a huge shout out to Southern Orthocare for allowing us to use their Athens facility to help all these precious souls.
Southern Orthocare provides help to so many people with amazing and life changing prosthetics and we are truly grateful they have opened their doors for the animals. We want to thank Infinitely Able Pets for their willingness to come out again and make everything perfect for all the littles 💜 it truly takes a village!

💜 Audrey’s Road to Recovery 💜

Our sweet little Audrey is still healing from her broken pelvis, and while her recovery has been slow, she continues to amaze us every single day. 🥹

Because she has had to spend so much time lying down, Audrey developed a painful pressure sore. There was a time when even gently touching the area was extremely painful for her. 💔

But look at her now. 🥰 We can clean and care for the sore without the same level of pain, and it is finally starting to heal. That may seem like a small victory, but to us, it is HUGE. ❤️

Audrey still has a long road ahead before she is completely pain-free and back to where she needs to be. But she is doing just a little bit better every day—and we are celebrating every single one of those little victories. 🫶

This tiny miniature donkey has been through so much, yet she continues to fight, heal, and show us what a true trooper looks like. 🥹💜

Keep fighting, sweet Audrey. We’re right here with you every step of the way. 🐴💗

🐴❤️ **ANNE NEEDS A SECOND LEG… AND SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP!** ❤️🐴

Anne has come so far. Her prosthetic has given her something incredibly important: **the ability to move, explore, and simply be a horse.** But when that leg needs to be repaired, adjusted, or replaced, Anne’s world suddenly gets much smaller.

Without a second prosthetic, Anne has to remain in a stall while her primary leg is being serviced. 💔 She deserves better than having her freedom put on hold every time her prosthetic needs attention.

That’s why we’re raising **$1,800 to give Anne a second prosthetic.** 🦿❤️

With a backup leg, Anne can continue to move comfortably and safely while her other prosthetic is being repaired. No unnecessary time stuck in a stall. No losing the freedom she has worked so hard to regain.

✨ **We’ve raised about $300 so far — but we still have a long way to go.** ✨

📱✨ **Crackers just discovered the selfie camera… and he has to admit, he’s pretty handsome!** 😂❤️

He caught a glimpse of himself on the phone and absolutely **couldn’t stop admiring that adorable face.** And honestly… we can’t blame him! 🥰

But Crackers is so much more than a handsome face. He is **sweet, loving, and ready for a family of his very own.** ❤️

There’s just one little catch… Crackers doesn’t want to go anywhere without his best friend, **Mordecai.** These two are a package deal. 🐴💕 They’ve built a special friendship, and Crackers’ biggest wish is to find a forever home where they can stay together.

Imagine opening your heart and home to **twice the love, twice the personality, twice the fun—and, of course, twice the treats!** 🥕😂

🦿💗 RESCUE ME FRIDAY — HELP ANNE BONNY REACH HER $1,800 GOAL! 💗🦿

Imagine finally getting the chance to walk again… then having to go without your leg while your prosthetic is being repaired. 💔

That is something we never want Anne Bonny to experience.

Anne’s prosthetic is so close to being finished! Her prosthetist will be flying in to make the final adjustments. While he is here, he will also be helping some of the special-needs animals at Ava’s Sanctuary. 🐴❤️

We have also been given permission to use a local prosthetic lab during his visit—an incredible opportunity to finish Anne’s current leg and fabricate a second prosthetic for her.

Why does Anne need two?

Because if her primary leg ever needs repair, adjustment, or replacement, Anne should not have to wait weeks or months to walk again. She deserves the security of a backup. She deserves to run, play, explore, and simply be a horse. 🥹🐴💕
