🐾A Milestone Moment: Teddy’s Journey Home ❤️
They say that in rescue work, our hearts are built to be a bridge—a safe place for a soul to land until they find where they truly belong. Today, that bridge feels a little bit heavier, but our hearts have never been fuller.
We are so emotional to announce that Teddy is our very first adoption of the month! 🏡✨
If you’ve followed Kindred Paws, you know Teddy. He wasn’t just a dog in a kennel; he was the spirit of our foundation. He taught us about patience, he gave the best leans when we were tired, and he waited so bravely for this exact day.
To mark this special occasion, we wanted to share a very rare behind-the-scenes moment. In this photo, we are proud to present our owner on the right. This is a face that usually stays behind the camera, working tirelessly for these animals, but today the joy was too big not to share. That smile (and the tears just out of frame!) is for every dog who, like Teddy, finally gets to hear the words: "Let's go home."
To be honest, it’s a bittersweet afternoon. The shelter feels a little too quiet without the jingle of Teddy’s collar. There’s a "Teddy-shaped" hole in our foundation today, and saying goodbye to a boy we love this much is hard.
But then, we look at his new family. We see the way he looks at them, and we know our job is done. Our sadness is tiny compared to the massive happiness of knowing he is finally safe, loved, and cherished in a home of his own.

❤️‍🩹 HELP KEELY ❤️‍🩹
A 10-month-old puppy's hind legs shattered in a devastating accident that nearly cost her her life.
At just 10 months old, Keely should be exploring the world with a wagging tail. Instead, her life nearly came to a brutal end when she was hit by a car. 💔 The impact shattered both of her hind legs, an accident that should have been fatal. Keely survived, but her future now depends on us.
She is so small. Weighing 10 kg, she likely won't grow much bigger. The fact that her body endured this trauma at her size is both heartbreaking and incredible. Now comes the harsh reality.
To date, Keely's surgery bill is $1,973.50, and that amount will continue to increase with her follow-up vet visits for checkups, X-rays, and ongoing care. This is in addition to the $1,700 emergency vet bill from the weekend. And now, we are asking for help again. We are begging you, in fact.

Mikey is a bold, energetic kitten with plenty of opinions. He fancies himself the toughest cat ever: he struts confidently, launches surprise attacks on his toys, and stands up to anything that moves. Curtains? Target hit. Stuffed mice? Completely defeated.

But don't let his tough exterior fool you. Beneath that bravado lies a true sweetheart who loves attention and never resists a good cuddle once playtime is over. He's the kind of kitten who dashes past you at top speed… then calmly returns five minutes later as if nothing had happened, looking for affection.

Mikey is incredibly playful, endlessly entertaining, and always up to mischief. He thrives in the company of others, loves being in the thick of things, and spreads laughter wherever he goes. His confidence makes him fun, his curiosity spices up life, and his affectionate side will surprise you when you least expect it.

🩷Meet BONNIE 🩷Great natured girl

Bonnie is a dog with an exceptional personality. Intelligent and very attentive, she sits quietly and waits patiently for her food.

Curious, alert, and playful, Bonnie loves cuddles. She loves the beach (but not the water!). If she's bored, she can be a little mischievous, but she adores her toys. When she's excited, she immediately grabs one of her favorite blankets and romps around with it. Bonnie also loves retrieving treats from her Kong.

Bonnie enjoys her daily walks. She can pull a little on her leash, but she's improved, and an owner used to large dogs will have no problem with her. She's friendly with people and well-behaved dogs on walks, although she doesn't always appreciate dogs rushing towards her. She barks to alert the household when strangers approach the door. Bonnie is happiest when someone is always by her side. She would therefore be suitable for active, physically fit retirees, someone who works from home, or a household where someone is often present.

Bonnie is a bit fussy and doesn't like to share, whether it's with people or food! This makes her the ideal choice for those who only want one pet. She doesn't have much experience with children, but she is very gentle with her foster family's 4-year-old niece. However, she is unaware of her size and strength (she thinks she's a small dog), so she will need supervision around young children. She would probably be most comfortable in a home without children, or with older children or teenagers. She sleeps well, doesn't snore, and travels well in the car. She particularly loves lounging on the sofa with "her humans" in the evening.

Bonnie has sensitive skin, which can cause itching. We are addressing this issue with a special diet, regular baths, and medication. We are still experimenting with different foods and medications, but we can provide any adopter with a history of the treatments tried and their effects.

KRINDED PAWS have found Miracle, trembling by the side of the road, exhausted, starving, and about to give birth. We couldn't abandon her. After a quick visit to the vet, we discovered she was carrying not one or two lives, but six little beating hearts.
Despite everything she's been through, this adorable dog is incredibly sweet and wags her tail, as if she knows she's finally safe. But her adventure is just beginning, and she needs everyone's help to make it happen.
Why We Need Your Help: Safely bringing six puppies into the world takes more than just love. We're raising funds to cover:
Prenatal veterinary care: Ultrasounds and health checks to ensure the mother is strong enough for whelping.
Whelping supplies: A safe and sterile environment, heating pads, and first aid kits.

‼️🚨 OFÉLIA’S NEED URGENT HELP NOW 🚨‼️
Hidden deep in the shadows of a quiet wooded area—far from any home, and far from help—Ofélia was waiting to die.
She was a ghost in the trees. Hunger had stripped her down to nothing but skin and bone. Every breath was a struggle; every movement was agony. On her back, a massive, horrific wound had been left to rot, turning necrotic and poisoning her tiny system. 💔
How many days did she lay there? How many times did she try to stand, only to collapse back into the dirt? We don’t know. All we know is that she refused to give up, even when her body had every reason to.
THE HARSH REALITY 🩺
When we finally reached her, the sight was devastating. Ofélia was:
Severely emaciated & dehydrated
Covered in a literal blanket of fleas and ticks
Suffering from a deep, infected open wound
Running a dangerously high fever with ghostly pale gums
This didn't happen overnight. This was the result of long-term, silent neglect. 🕯️
A GLIMMER OF HOPE ✨
We expected her to run. We expected fear. But as we knelt beside her, Ofélia did something that broke our hearts: she lifted her tired head and looked at us with eyes that asked one question: “Is this finally the moment someone stays?”
She was rushed to emergency care. The team is working around the clock—stabilizing her, managing her pain, and fighting the infection that threatens to take her. She is incredibly fragile. One wrong step could overwhelm her system, but she is fighting. 🐾❤️
SHE IS NO LONGER ALONE 🤝
Ofélia doesn’t understand what a "vet bill" is. She doesn’t know about treatment plans or diagnostics. All she knows is that for the first time in her life, gentle hands are touching her. She is leaning into the love. She is taking small bites of food. She is choosing to live.
