We made this film on our own, no big budget or studio behind it. Just a handful of people who believed in the story.
Tehran, in the years following 1979. A city that changed overnight, and the musicians who lived through it.
Dedicated to the young people who had their whole lives ahead of them and had it stolen.
This project is rooted in everything I love about Persian culture.
The storytelling of the Shahnameh, the architecture, the music, the poetry. All of it runs through this film.
Stay with us. This is just the start.
