**2026 PSA #3: Support the Paiute Community After Recent Fires**
Due to recent wildfires in Northern Nevada, several members of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe (PLPT) have been without power, resulting in the loss of significant amounts of food and other essential supplies. After speaking with the Pyramid Lake Food Distribution Program, we have identified items that would be most helpful.
The requested items are things many of us are already bringing to Burning Man. If every vehicle will make a small donation, we can make a big difference – especially for the Sutcliffe residents, who were without power the longest.

**Also... 17th Annual Paiute Food Drive (On Your Way Out)**
Don't dump your leftovers—add this essential stop to your camp's exit strategy!
* **Where: Bunny’s Tacos in Nixon** (SR 447, across from the Tribal Offices. Look for the donation banners and dayglo flags).
* **When: September 5–9 **(Late strikes can drop off through September 30).
**What to Donate**
* **YES:** Unopened fresh, frozen, refrigerated, and shelf-stable foods. Water, hygiene products, and household essentials. (Note: Keep cold food cold!)
* **NO: **Alcohol, opened items, spoiled food, or trash.
**Want to do more?**
Share and support the Pyramid Lake Paiute Victim Services Fundraiser. Their current emergency and transitional housing is completely at capacity. Funds raised this year go directly toward building new housing for victims in need of shelter, counseling, and support. Donate to Victim Services through PayPal.
