The Skid Row Care Campus (SRCC) serves 3,000 people a day experiencing some of the most extreme conditions of poverty, homelessness, illness, trauma, and substance use in LA County.

Every day, Anthony Ruffin, providers, and doctors respond to overdoses, treat wounds, and other health conditions, provide food, build relationships and help people navigate toward treatment, healthcare, and housing.

💜August 31st is International Overdose Awareness Day.

We remember our loved ones lost to overdose. This past weekend we brought together people from all over LA County for a run/walk event in honor of International Overdose Awareness Day in Hollenbeck Park.

In LA County, overdose deaths have decreased thanks to community organizations and overdose prevention services. We know that substance use doesn't define a person and we're here to support those that need it.

August 31st International Overdose Awareness Day!

This past weekend, we hosted a run/walk in Hollenbeck Park dedicated to International Overdose Awareness Day! We’re grateful to everyone who came out to join the run/walk!

International Overdose Awareness Day is a day of remembrance for our loved ones that we've lost to drug overdose. Started in 2001, International Overdose Awareness Day marks the progress made, lives saved and the work needed to be done to continue to prevent overdose deaths.
